Sorry to pick this up again but the last method implies that TWRP will be installed permanently as default recovery, right? I was successfull only with the first method however I always end up in LOS recovery when try to enter recovery with Vol-up+Power after everything is installed.
I'm sure we all agree that this whole recovery mess needs to be sorted out quickly. Even experienced users are hitting snags and flood the board with questions

Both. I managed flash from Oreo using third method, but also you can downgrade to Nougat. If Oreo method is not working for you, downgrade is the solution.

So basically if you're on Oreo system_a, we have to do:

- Flash TWRP
- Flash ROM
- Flash TWRP installer
- Reboot to recovery
- Switch to system_b
- Flash Gapps + Magisk

Right?

It is necessary to include Magisk with the ROM. Just use Magisk hide to hide root from those apps.

Hmmmmh...my MiA1 was brand new with september Nougat. No OTA. Maybe this is the reason why I failed with the third method....

Hi, @radogost!
Add to #1, Hall sensor for flip case isnt working. On stock if you place a small magnet over app switch/home button, it should turn on/off the screen. Its quite a handy feature, i think los supports it, at least on my lge v500 its fine on official rom.

hey guys i using this rom as daily driver everything works fine for me except those bugs mentioned above,finger print is working ,no wifi issues,gcam and offical miui camera also working and all magisk modules working for me,i have problem in playing wwe mayhem game in stock but in this rom its runs smooth and no battery heating problem ,everything works fine need led notification fix

Hmmm I guess the ROM is not yet patched for webview. Hoping the next update fixes that.

What version of the gcam are you using? I'm using cstark 3.6 and it works for me.

By the way. I found a bug. The equalizer don't work correct. Everytime when you skip a song you must tap the bass regulator again in the equalizer app. When you don't do it, it plays without bass.

Just re-posting something i posted in the original thread.....

This is a thing I noticed....the ROM that we flash for some reason stays only on one partition....
The one we flash it on.....
Cauz I noticed that when I switched to the other partition and booted I got a boot loop....whereas when I switched back to the partition with the OS it boots back.....

I have installed twrp and magisk 16 succesfully but if I try to flash rom file i get error1 on twrp. Any advice?

Update: succesfully flashed, it start to boot with the typical lineage os logo but then it reboot into lineage recovery, and keep boot into it, no os boot.
