1 week ago i installed the SHRP recovery and CRDroid... it was all perfect (everything worked) until... yesterday I went to the recovery and tried to put the password to decrypt the internal storage because I wanted to update the ROM but when I set the password and the recovery asked me to reboot the phone started to reboot automatically in the "Redmi powered by android" screen and I can't do anything... I tried everything with SPFlashTool but when I try to flash the stock ROM it seems to be flashing but it gets stuck with the red Download DA 100% bar but after 2 minutes I get the ERROR: STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION (0XC0050005) and nothing works... can you guys help me?

Never update without retire, previously, the password or user encryption.

The error comes due to a bad connection, use the USB full speed and untick the Check LIB DA match option in SPFT.

hey man i just wanna ask how to successfully unlock bootloader of my redmi note 9. fast boot is working fine, drivers are good and can detect my phone but when it start verifying it gives 50% error saying 'couldn't verify device' . appreciated the help man. I would also like to know if there is an alternative way to unlock bootloader of this device instead of mi unlock. thank you

For the normal Mi unlock tool, you may check if you did correctly all the steps, logging in into your Mi account and binding the device, using just Mobile data, not Wi-Fi.

I didn't try this tool while I owned a RN9, but it worked in other device with a MediaTek processor, https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient, anyway, be sure to cover all the previous steps, correctly, to have a way to escape from, in case something goes wrong.

Hello! I've been trying to revive my M2003J15SG for the past few weeks with little avail. I've tried various guides, "bundles" and ROMs (including a developer ROM) only to eventually get STATUS_DEVICE_CTRL_EXCEPTION, which according to this blog post seems to indicate that I'm flashing the wrong firmware.... but I'm not (I think?)

It bricked after I flashed merlin_global V12.5.4.0.RJOMIXM and then flashed a different version of the little kernel (taking the image from V12.0.4.0.QJOMIXM). I don't even remember why I did that but it bricked my device and now requires using SP Flash Tool with the BootROM exploit.

I have Build 1504 of usb2ser.sys, running Windows 10 21H2 N LTSC and have tried the following SP Flash Tool versions:

• SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1924_Win
• SP_Flash_Tool_v5.2020_Win
• SP_Flash_Tool_v5.2216_Win

I've also tried the following ROMs:

• merlin_global_images_V11.0.2.0.QJOMIXM
• merlin_global_images_V11.0.4.0.QJOMIXM
• merlin_global_images_V12.0.8.0.QJOMIXM
• merlin_in_global_images_V11.0.2.0.QJOINXM
• merlin_in_global_images_V12.5.6.0.RJOINXM
• V1_MERLIN_Engineering_AL2522-Merlin-V039-Q-0513_QP1A.190711.020

I also tried Download Agents:

• DA_VD171--3.3001.2019-06-02019-12-18
• DA_VD171--3.3001.2020-03-02020-03-06
• DA_VD171--3.3001.2020-07-02020-07-14

Every time, for whatever reason, the phone stops behaving, if I unplug and re-plug it, I get a "device cannot be recognized" error, which means I have to wait for the phone to drain and then try again, plugging in while pressing the Vol- key (I tried pressing the power button to power-cycle it while still connected over USB, it works sporadically but not reliably).

Recently I came across a post that provided an auth_sv5.auth file within its "bundle" and I've been using that alongside the BootROM exploit and it hasn't helped. I have used both libusb-filter and UsbDk variants of bypass_utility, neither of them have made a difference.

This is currently what I'm doing with my latest attempts with v5.2216

SP Flash Tool either, in order of frequency

• hangs and does nothing
• shows "Download DA 100%" for ~2 minutes before showing STATUS_DEVICE_CTRL_EXCEPTION (subsequent attempts don't work at all so I have to unplug, drain, replug)
• stall for a bit and then show STATUS_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (usually pressing the power button to do a restart works here)
• stall for a bit and then show STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION (forcing me to do a "wait till power drains and try again" ritual)

This is how device manager reports on the device after the exploit is run.

Before the exploit is run it reports as "MediaTek DA USB VCOM (Android)" and after, it becomes "MediaTek USB Port"

I'm out of ideas, no idea what to do. This is making me regret buying a MediaTek device really hard but, what's done is done. I bought it second hand, too, so I don't even know if Xiaomi will accept the device for repair considering how far gone it is.

If there's any other diagnostic information I can provide, please let me know!

atualizei meu Merlin para miui 13 mudei a região e atualizei, depois de um tempo ele desligou e não ligou mais, só aparece a logo redmi e desliga, não entra em modo recovery, só em modo fastboot e está com bootloader bloqueado, passei a ROM pelo sp flash Tool e não resolveu, e sempre q vou passar da essa mensagem da foto, e já troquei a bateria não adiantou tbm.

If the issue is the baseband, sometimes get fixed flashing the latest firmware, anyway, I guess, actually you have a backup.

we finally manage to flash miui 12 but both imei are unknown, after doing a restart it boot loop logo again.
we don't have any backup on the previous system, just the photos only.
will try to flash old stock to latest
