I had stock 5.0.2 running on my refurbished and rooted LG-G2 D801 along with TWRP 184.108.40.206.
2) bootstack-d801-CAF-signed.zip (Latest Hybrid Bootstack for D801)
3) DU_d801_6.0.1_20160710-0805.v10.4-DIRTY-DEEDS.zip AND
Then I rebooted into TWRP recovery and flashed twrp-3.0.2-1-d801-bump-blastagator-signed.zip and then rebooted into new recovery successfully.
Then I wiped System, Data, Dalvik and Cache partitions and flashed bootstack-d801-CAF-signed.zip.
Then I flashed latest DU v10.4 and then the Banks Gapps and then rebooted system and I was getting a bootloop on LG logo.
I rebooted into recovery again manually and wiped everything again and clean-flashed the ROM only and rebooted. It's again showing bootloop.
Am I missing something or did I do anything wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.
PS: Flashed 31/7 CM13 nightly and it didn't give even a bootloop. Only blank screen. Could it be possible that the device isn't D801 although it was running D801 lollipop firmware and showed itself as D801 in 'About Phone' of phone settings? I was able to successfully flash D801 specific TWRP as well.
I don't think it's something different from a D801. Flashing the wrong bootloader would lead to a brick - which wasn't the case. Have you checked the ROM thread to make sure, it's not the ROMs fault? Or maybe in the ROM threads OP there are instructions on flashing the ROM. Also have you doublechecked the md5 sum of the zip or tried to download the zip again?
