I use it for daily driver since more than a week. One very nice rom witch has nice batter life as-is is mokee rom (cm10.1) but make sure to download not the latest version but the one with wifi working.
Also you can compile tha latest kernel to get a nice battery life on the other roms too.
For me its good enough, all night (~8hours) it consumed less than 20% (i think 14% but i am not sure if i remember correctly :p )

are those values correct about battery life in first post or it must be updated too ? and it wont say anything about time limit it must be 1 hr period or whole night without any usage? if battery life has some improvment i will try rom too thanks for helping
Those are the offcial battery life with the CM9. Don't have any official information about the CM10.1 build.

Also, they are "up to date" if you are wondering about the official alpha release. But if you are wondering about the lastest kernel avaliable, that is just the code, and you have to compile and make a working ROM with that.

I don't have any official information. So as far I can say, it's better to wait.

In the main topic its says "Flash [work in progress]".
Do they mean flash player or flash light? And if its about the flashlight, its not working only in the camera and can still function as a torch or does it non functional at all?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my English, Yoel

They mean the torch not the flash player, thats not a kernel issue. It works as a torch but not for taking shots (on the kernel i use) but with the latest commits it works ok (but there are other issues now

Edit: oops someone else answered before me

Look its complicated i have tried the kernel on cm9 but i had sleep of death, so i tried with cm10.1 but the notification dind work (neither calls) when it was in deep sleep. So i went back to mokee rom (cm10.1 based) june 27th build witch is perfect, only issue is front cam.
I would suggest you mokee as its the most functional i have tried
PS: maybe some of the above problems have their solutions but i dont know anything of it

I know this is probably OT in this thread but I figure it's better to risk being OT here than in the development thread. I searched the CM 10.1 thread and couldn't find any mention of this:

Are there any plans to do a resync to CM 10.1.1 in order to include the recent master key exploit fix?

You can do that yourself now, or wait for the next release. It's not that hard if you know how to build a ROM from source. :)

So, wait a second. What happened with the sd card was a sleep of death and not a reboot? And that was fixed but now is back? Is traced what caused it or it was just good luck what fixed it?

No, it was a reboot and is fixed. This sleep of death issue is new and considering how many changes are in the last several commits, I can't blame anyone. After all, this is just a few people working on it in their free time, not a full time paid team. I'm sure that it will be fixed too, though.

Camera quality doubt

Does anyone of you have noticed the camera quality compared with cm7? It looks awful. I don't know if it's just my device or kernel bug. I would keep cm10.1 if camera was better. :(

Is there any way to solve this?

This has been discussed twice before.

Basically the devs worked with what they had. That was the camera driver they had and so they used it.

It is a kernel bug, not just your device.

This is a know problem. It's not a bug, because the cam is working, and that's all for now. They are working hard to make everything work. I guess after they finish to make everything work propelly, they will continue to get it all better/more stable.

All the kernel it's open source. So no, it's not "The driver they had". It's the driver that they did.

Some driver libs are not open source.

Wake up on call in deepsleep is caused by removed irq wake that i did when i started working on battery performance. When i finish implementing it, it will work as it should. It shouldn't be even in bug reports, since it was totally expected by me. Also please do not bug report now, many things in kernel code are just started/not finished, some things like irq wakes are disabled for now. This kernel is far from bug reporting phase. Of course if you found a bug and made a fix for it then above statement doesn't comply to you. Otherwise feel free to test it, make notes but keep it to yourself. One more thing, we are working on common panel settings for all tegras but it still requires some more work. It's not possible to query by some specific hardware revision, so we are testing different clocks now. It might be that those who had no issues with alpha will have it now and vice versa.
