Atrix 4G AT&T, tegrapart 1100.
I've flashed (by CWM) a kernel from April, 25th and CM9 MROM+gapps instead of old CM7 MROM.
(wipe davlik>wipe data->wipe system->install MROM->install Kernel->install gapps->reboot)
It booted Ok, but there's a new issue: touchscreen isn't working so I can't select neither language nor START option.
Re-flashed about 5 times, but no result.
Restored CM7 MROM and touch is Ok again.
Could you guys check this issue of drivers, please.
cache wipe?¿
system install¿?
mmmmm what mrom?¿

It will be a cm9 and cm10 with this or just a flasheable kernel?

This is awesome! I'm so... so exited...

Thanks!
Please, read OP in main thread.

Until now no has happened this to testers.
You should wait for the version to be published for download and see if the problem persists.

I have created a new thread with a script to build the kernel. Full credit for the script goes to the amazing mapkel. Without him there would be no script.

This is beyond simple. Anyone can build this, but please read the thread carefully and understand the risks.

[Script] Build ICS/JB Kernel

For those who can't click: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2253529

Keep in mind this will be compatible with the public alpha that is soon to be released.

This will let you get the latest kernel changes and some experience, so it is not taking away from the public alpha, merely complimenting it.

The FAQ itself says it'll be available for CM10 too. But I'm wondering if it will be available for CM10.1 because, in my opinion, newer versions are better.
Forgive my bad english.
CM10.1 is compatible with this kernel and will eventually be released.

There have been changes to the project's bug tracker as recently as yesterday. They are also working on getting a ROM to work with the new kernel so changes to that won't appear in the kernel's github repository.

Maybe there haven't been any changes because they are getting ready to release the public build.

All that needs to be said is they are still working on this project and nothing has been abandoned. Be patient.

I don't see how that can be related. epinter's build of CM10 won't work with a CM9 kernel build. The team it's working on get a CM9 compatible kernel and fully funtional.

The kernel uses in Android 4.x is the same, for that reason we call it "ICS/JB kernel". Android 4.2 it's just a upgrade over 4.1.

So eventually the kernel will work on all Android 4.x tree, or that's what they mean.

They are working hard to get the battery draining issue ready. Maybe you can't see it, but they are doing it. This is like the mayor issue to see the public release. The battery it's OK. But I would be longer, and it's not doing that right now.

They are working hard since last year, now we are close, there is not way they leave us behaind.

Sorry but you don’t find curious that since your script was publishing no more update and information are allowed may be you should take a moment to considering that with their work and the lot of time they deserve the first respect is to wait a a public alpha release before compiled any rom ???? Sorry for my English ;)
