The camera just closes right away no error message etc. I'm on revelation 1.02 clean install wiped data, cache, and dalvik. Any help?

Stuck at bootscreen

Hi guys, first post.

So I've been messing around with this custom rom business on my Sensation and it seems to get stuck at the boot screen when i try to install roms based on the latest android versions. This happened with CM 10.2 and now with Revelations 1.0.0

My phone is unlocked, s-on, and my current installed rom is Revelation 1.0.0 which won't boot. I have 4ext recovery if it makes any difference. Before this i had CM 9.2 succesfully installed and working.

The easiest way would be to use the latest version of 4ext recovery and enable smart flash before flashing ROM otherwise you'll have to flash the boot.img via fastboot. Use the full wipe option in the aroma installer too.

Okay, so i have tried doing some different thinks with no luck. I had a backup of a working ROM, which i had copied to my computer due to not having that much space on my SD card. The smartflash did not work, i am still stuck in the bootloop. And when i then tried to restore the backup in 4ext, it did not work. It simply couldn't find the backup. I have then tried a few more ROMs and none of them worked either. So I am now in a state where i cannot boot my phone and thus enable USB debugging, so I cannot update my 4ext (which I suspect is horribly outdated). Furthermore I cannot flash the boot.img from adb, since I cannot enable USB debugging. I am a beginner in ROMs, so i am completely lost on what to do now.

you don't need adb for the boot.img
only fastboot and the command is
fastboot flash boot boot.img

just boot the device to the bootloader
connect it to pc(in the hboot screen should say fastboot usb)
then perform the command

Fried GPU?

I encountered the attached screen after not using the phone for a month or two, and then rebooting it a time or two (no way to unmount the microsd otherwise). I have S-Off, Revelation 1.0.1 and firmware 3.32(?) Max cpu freq. was 1566mhz and max gpu freq. was 320mhz. I'm hoping that i didn't fry the gpu, as I forgot that I overclocked it and left it there lol. Also I apologize for not searching more thoroughly, but I didn't really know what to search for other than something like "tv static in color" :laugh:
