Boot problem

Hi,

I got a small problem. I unlocked the boot loader then rooted my moto g. After that i installed CWM but once i flashed on the new cyagonmod it won't boot properly. I can access CWM and fast boot but it loops if i try to boot the android os. It loops on the warning screen which you get when you unlock the boot loader.

Thanks

Nabeel

Hey Nabeel,
Which version did you download and install? Did you install the latest nightly from http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=falcon? There have been problems with a bootloop on an older version before.

I'll Try that

I followed the tutorial on this post. Now recovery has gone kaput. But i can still fast boot. Is there any way of pushing files via fast boot to the sdcard. I have since completely wiped the phone.

There is no tutorial in this thread to flash the recovery. What does it mean that it is kaput? You can use fastboot to install a new recovery if kaput means that it is damaged (what is highly unlikely). See the Device info page on cyanogenmod.org on how to get into recovery from fastboot. And see the Moto G FAQ on how to flash a recovery.

i hope you will be able to fix your problem :)

If that is the case than I would like to ask you to open a new thread with a clear description of your problem. It seems like you bricked your phone and I still don't understand what you did and how it happened. "It kinda messed the whole phone up" is not a good description. Make a step-by-step description of what you did, what you installed and when the error turned up (all in the new thread). So that the community can help you resolve the problem. First, use the search function and see if threads like this can help you.

Is anyone else experiencing a magnet sensor issue? It will start the screen, but won't recognize when the flip case is closed

It is a known problem. However, by using Xposed framework it is possible to fix that problem. Here is the solution to it! I will include that in the known issues on the cyanogenmod website and add this fix to the FAQ. Let me know if that solves your problem!

Sorry, I don't think that I can help you with it. It seems there is something wrong with your fstab, somehow your sdcard doesn't get mounted... Where did you download the recovery and which one are you using?

So you are back at a working recovery, and a bootable phone? What is the error message that you get?

You should only use the official link from wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Falcon_Info

Do you at least get the bootlogo from Cyanogenmod or are you stuck again on the bootloader warning?
No waring screen loop
