Dont know if this is a suitable question here but as it's relevant for the defy I will go ahead anyway.

Will the camera app in gapps be rebuilt as it's not fully compatible with the defy because the defy lacks hardware to support all functions?

Cheers

I don't think it will be re built. Except for the Photo Sphere everything works on defy.

We can't resize system rom, because we have locked bootloader & i think 2ndboot will not help. Solution - unistall not need system apps, hint: unistall CMWallpapers - it will free about 10MB in SROM
How can I remove wallpapers? Thanks a lot

Is it really necessary to do a clean install from cm x to 10.1? I don't have time to reconfigure everything

Another thing that worries me a bit is that the system space is not big enough while internal storage atleast for me is on over 1GB, possible to make the system space bigger?

Cheers?

I use Titanium Backup it shows free space in SROM, SD & Phone mem, it also better when other root app remove apps. Recomended.

My proposal for checking free space on system partition is System Cleanup. Easy to use, it offers not only freezing and uninstalling of apps in system partition, but also moving them to data partition, usually with a lot of free space, so we can keep all system apps functionable

Add Netflix to the list of non functioning streaming apps

on the 18/11 build (2012/11/18) of Quarx's JB 4.1.2. CM10 ROM, already know about the dlna issues, but this also affects Netflix as well.

I'm pretty handy on a Linux box and know my way around a command line, but very new to Android, is there anything I can so to help track down this bug ?

thanks

My titanium backup shows onky internal & Sd card storage. I am using 3.7.4 version.. is it shown in details on latest version?

Edit: got it. System panel shows it. Currently its 82 MB free with minimal JB gapps. On 17th Nov CM10. Will wait before flashing 10.1 as its my only phone so daily usability is imp for me.

Great work by the ONE! :)

Flight mode weirdness

Hi,,

being a new user first I want to say thank you to Quarx and this whole community here: Great work, folks!

Last week I bought my first smartphone, a Defy+ and flashed it to CM10-20121118-NIGHTLY-mb526.zip
and cm-10-20121125-UNOFFICIAL-mb526.zip successfully on the first try.

Using it I noticed a problem when having no SIM card inserted into the phone. The flight mode
setting, shown in the shutdown/reboot menu, sometimes switches between on and off with no
user interaction at all, the phone UI is lagging as well.
This happens with a newly CM10-flashed phone, 4.1.2 and 4.2 both affected, were a factory/cache/dalvik
wipe was also made before flashing. A forum search was unsuccessful.

Is this a known problem? Should I avoid using CM10 with no SIM card? My SIM cards is still in my old
phone, switching it will take some time as I am waiting for some phone accessories to be delivered.
