In the forrest
My titanium backup shows onky internal & Sd card storage. I am using 3.7.4 version.. is it shown in details on latest version?

Edit: got it. System panel shows it. Currently its 82 MB free with minimal JB gapps. On 17th Nov CM10. Will wait before flashing 10.1 as its my only phone so daily usability is imp for me.

Great work by the ONE! :)

Thanks for that command. Last night i again flashed 18th Nov after full data wipe. Here is my output on 18th Nov CM10:
/system
Size 325M
Used 268M
Free 56M
Blksize 1024

/cache
Size 196 mb
Free 192 mb
Blocksize 4096

I forgot to take screenshot when i was on 17th Nov build, but I am sure the free space was more in that build, round 82 mb.

lol it seems that in my hunt for more space have managed to delete the terminal, but titanium tells me:

Rom: 340mb (22.2mb)

But this is after I had uninstalled all CM10 apps, all ring tones except one, all apps that got anything to do with voice and most certainly a lot of other things and after installing some of the Android 4.2 apps like clock, calendar and camera/gallery. But the biggest question in this is why my rom space is 340 if yours is only 325

Did you try wiping your Device with the zip from this Thread?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818520

I have 70ish free MB in System (on an older ROM though), so there shouldn`t be the need to hack into your System APPs like a tasmanian devil. Those zips really are great on multiple Levels.

What about minimal GAPPS 4.2? Are there any news on that front?

EDIT:>>>>>>>WAIT: I have no clue if these zips work with the new fileformats, caution is advised<<<<<<<<

Thanks for confirming.

Any command to check the format type of current partition? I mean I want to know if my current build data is on ext3 or ext4 format?

Sorry for offtopic & repeated query, but want to know this as there ia still confusion on what format ia supported for which build. I mean is ext4 mandatory for 4.2? Or ext3 ia gud enough?

App2SD does not work

Hi,

I am using a Defy+ with latest Quarx CM10-20121128-NIGHTLY-mb526.zip
and a SanDisk microSDXC 64GB card (SDSDQU-O64G-U46A). Since using
this card moving an app to SD card fails, see attached screenshot. I already
tried to format the SD card, no success. Otherwise the card works fine using
data by OsmAnd, MX Player and Zimly. Also with the supplied 2GB SD card
moving an app to SD card works fine.

"mount | grep data" : on 17th Nov
/system : ext3
/data : ext3
/cache : ext4

On CM 10.1 ?

In my Defy I have:

/system : ext3
/data : ext4
/cache : ext4

There is a way to format /system to ext4 too? maybe in recovery?

Thanks a lot!
I am on 18th Nov & below is my output:
/system : ext3
/data : ext4
/cache : ext4

Before flashing 18th Nov build, I had formatted data to ext3, but still its showing ext4 now. Any problem in this?
What to do before flashing latest builds? Now that linaro is disabled, do we have ro format data again to ext3? Or flash normally?

System cannot be formatted to ext4. Since we have locked bootloader, we run recovery from bootmenu(system partition) and for that system has to be in ext3 as set by moto. Data and cache as u can see are now running ext4.

Hope you know that this build is currently for testing purposes and nothing works on it. Android can't recognize SD and GApps are showing problems and TWRP maybe is incompatible with yet. (Have Epsylon updated his post about the TWRP?)

He's talking about CM10, not CM10.1. So he is in the wrong thread.

@Cobbi, I suggest you reflash rom without gapps and try again

I found a solution to the problem: When formatting the card with FAT32 and
32kb cluster size the error disappears. Android itself formats the card again
to 8kb cluster size and the error occurs again. Formatting a previously
formatted card with 32kb clusters by 2ndinit recovery menu leaves the
32kb clusters untouched. Any advice or confirmation for the problem?

+1

I checked cluster size from my sdcard and it's 64 kb had no problem with moving apps.
