But there is no option for Venom Pie under accessibility, ROM updated using OTA update from 5.1.0 to 5.2.0.
I flash full ROM, now i am able to see the Venom Pie under accessibility.

SoftBricked when trying to update and Install Xposed framework

Don't kill me for asking this.

I got tempted for installing and Updating Xposed Framework.
But after I updated and soft rebooted my phone to install and activate the Xposed framework my phone became soft bricked.
I can go to fastboot and reach the recovery no problem. But even after wiping my dalvik and cache, it did not help.
Neither did trying to recover by backup helped. Nor did performing a full wipe and installing a fresh ROM helped.


I don't know how I screwed up bad. Need help. :crying: I love my phone and I love the ROM.

Desperate for a kind reply.

Have you tried installing a different ROM? Cos I don't think installing an app can brick your phone.

No Sir, I tried flashing my backups that I had made, and flashed other versions of Viper like 5.0.0 when flashing backup did not work.
Flashing a cleaner ROM should have solved the Issue. I don't know why I am still having the problem.

Full Wipe and Clean Install should have been a one stop solution to this.

Whenever I get stuck in problems like this. This is what I do:
1. Return to stock Rom using latest official RUU of my phone (mind the firmware)

2. Flash recovery image

3. Flash Rom of my choice.

I don't know if there's a different way but that is what I do.

Edit: I don't see how you can flash RUU if your device doesn't boot cos your device have to be on before you flash the RUU but if you can obtain the Rom.zip file from the RUU then you can do this

fastboot oem rebootRUU

Fastboot flash zip Rom.zip

Which recovery are you using? Make sure it's up to date

in the first i use 4ext 1.0.0.6 rc2
in the second i user 4ext 1.0.0.6 rc1
and i get same probleme

Go to settings>about phone>software updates and install from there, it'll boot into recovery and flash the update and reboot. That's how I did Mine and I had no problem.

Anybody having the automatic timezone issue with this rom?

I'm currently in Bishkek, which is GMT +6, but whenever I set to automatic timezone, the tz switches to Karachi, which is GMT +5.
The manual tz selection works partly: the city (Bishkek) is not available in the list for manual selection, I have to pick Yekaterinburg; but then the built-in time&weather widget still shows GMT +5 (with "Bishkek" tag), while the status bar clock shows GMT +6.

My guess was that the phone doesn't have Bishkek in timezones.db and picks the next closest location available in its list, which happened to be Karachi. I tries adding Bishkek to timezones.db list, but still don't see it in the manual selection, and obviously the automatic tz was not fixed either.
Anybody found a fix for this bug?

P.S. I remember it's an old issue with Sensation and it was there ever since I bought the phone three years ago and when it still had stock rom. But KitKat roms that I tried recently did not have this issue... so it probably is Sense related

Go to settings>about phone>software updates and install from there, it'll boot into recovery and flash the update and reboot. That's how I did Mine and I had no problem.

+1. Why is everyone trying to flash the update through 4ext? Try the "old-fashion" way! "Settings>About Phone>Software Updates" and install from there!

In the dev forum it has been suggested problems with up load script so you might need to download again.

No problem at all for me.
Give some more information. Are you on OTA update or full wipe? If the problem happens after OTA update I would reccomend a full wipe and a fresh install of the 5.2.1 version.

Ps: Please post screenshot in english. It's quite useless in your native language for a lot of people.
Change the language to English in settings, make screenshot, restore your native language. It's really quick, no need for reboot.

Sorry, I misunderstood.
I was thinking that the weather APP which is included in the ROM wasn't working for you.
I don't use the app from the thread you are referring about. It must be a compatibility issue with new ROM version.
