I dont know if this is a Rom issue , kernel or am doing something wrong.am using Viper S 5.2.1 But wen i take pictures at night they dont come out nice at all. I have tried using the toggle flashlight feature but the light is not bright enough to illuminate properly. And if the light i use e camera flash the light is bright enough but because the picture is taken so quickly the camera doesn't focus properly.
:confused::confused::confused:

Was the camera quality at night better in previous Roms that you used?

The first day i got is when i flashed the viper rom so i cant compare to stock or another rom. But i am comparing to other phones since i used to own a samsung galaxy ace. And the night piks would focus properly.

But the specs on this one are actually better than the s5830 so anyone would expect it to be better
I have an Ace2 and just compared the flash times and the Ace2 uses the flash for a longer period of time before the photo shoots so this is why it is able to focus better, well actually I don't think the Sensation has time to focus at all in very dark conditions.
There maybe a reason for this but I'm not sure, you'll need to raise this issue with the devs if you need this fixed otherwise you could try another alternative camera app. I remember the camera use to have a zero shutter speed option, if this option is still there, disable it and it may allow focusing with flash in the dark. Also you maybe able to use the flashlight with the camera to focus, enabling a longpress button for flashlight would be ideal if it works.

Okay let me try and tell the devs because i already tried the flashlight option and the light is not powerful enough wen u compare it to the one that comes on wen it flashes.

Touch response delay

Hello guys! I need some help :(

I just upgraded this ROM (ViperS 5.2.0) (clean wipe). Everything working very good expect one thing, scrolling has become a consistently frustrating experience. If I flick, sometimes it flicks fast, sometimes it flicks very slow, and sometimes it comes to a dead stop when I release my finger. It wasn't before on GB or ICS was always smooth scrolling. Maybe there is a way to disable something in the settings, SU or Venom Tweaks or something else to fix this issue? :) Would be very grateful if someone can tell me how to fix this.

Harman / Kardon (M8)

Hi,

I'm really new at the forums so I couldn't make a request in your forum for a perhabs great new audio software for the new HTC One M8 convert for the HTC Sensation with ViperS 5.2.1 (perhabs the next .2). Would it actually possible to add this modification also for the Sensation? I know the issue that the conversion (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2737498) only will work with rooted M8s and not working on stock roms, also with the GPE edtion and on the older One's. But there's nothing about other smartphones such as the Sensation.
So team ViperS, would it be possible for our holy Sensations :fingers-crossed:?

Regards,
John

I have to say... probably developers don't read this thread.

Anyway, I don't think they are planning to add new feature to Sensation ROM: ivicask (the main developer) said more times that team is really busy with M7 and M8 and they will release only bugfixes for the sensation.
The Viper ROM has already some Sound Mods, like xLoud, ClearPhase. be happy with them :D

OK, thanks for reading. Perhaps there is someone out there who could made a bit pressure on the developers for doing this mod. The M7 (HTC One) also doesn't include this modification, and I thought, if they script that for M7, they could also do that for the Sensation.
But let's hope for a "sensation".

Hi. I have a T-Mobile Sensation 4G running latest Venom ViperS 5.2.1. Flashed the recommended 3.33 RUU for S-OFF before flashing the ROM. Neither the stock FM radio nor SpiritFM give me anything more than random, drifting audio and usually just static. Bluetooth on or off. My wife now tells me it's been that way since it was stock (basically, that the radio hasn't worked for a long time).

Could this be a hardware issue? Is there any particular contact or set of contacts that might be bad between the phone and the case? Thanks.

Try flashing a nearer GPS server with this mod > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2717352

You could also try GPS status app to update your AGPS > https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eclipsim.gpsstatus2

Definitely sounds like a hardware issue, especially if it occurs after using the correct RUU.
It's not related to any contacts on the back cover either, it uses the headset for an aerial.
Have you tried different headphones, it's probably my only suggestion...

Unfortunately, seems to be the same with any headphones, and I figured the headphones were the only necessary thing. I've had the phone apart, too. Wonder if there are any wires inside I might have missed reconnecting. Guess I'll fiddle around and see what I can come up with. Thanks.
