Someone suggested clock sync app earlier. I downloaded it and set it to update every 15 minutes. This seems to be a decent workaround. Hopefully this gets fixed in the final release.

im going to try the clock sync app and have it just sync on wifi to see if the issue is with the 3g, if that is the case I will uncheck that option. I will just use the app as a workaround until there is a patch.

I couldn't find a fix. Clocksync didn't do a great job even when I had the phone syncing every 30 minutes. This was too big of an issue to overlook just to have Froyo. I went back to DL09. Hopefully a new Froyo Leak would fix this issue. From what I've read, DL30 is a very early build of Froyo and it was not a RC. A newer build EB01 I think should fix a lot of the issues people are seeing. I'm gonna wait for that to be release before I install Froyo again.

PS. I also tried the SuperClean ROM based on DL30. That still had the clock lag issue.

im still having this issue.. running EB01/Superclean2.0.. Lost about 122 seconds in an hour or 2 before reinstalling clocksync... looks like it looses about 3 seconds every 15 minutes now. ANNOYING!

I installed EB01 this morning and automatic was not selected under Date & Time by default for some reason. I checked it and times been spot on since.

This issue still persists in EB01. In my case, it is caused by turning on wifi. If this issue has disappeared for anyone since upgrading to EB01, can you think of any applications you have changed or uninstalled since DL30?

I have also noticed it on eb01. It always syncs when you make a call though so I just occasionally call Google voice. For people having this issue, have you disabled data via the notification bar toggle? I do this, maybe that's the problem and explains the association with wifi.

I found that I have to reboot twice for the clock lag to get fixed. Meaning that when I have to reboot the phone, I reboot it then once it starts, I shut it off and then power it on again.
Try that and let me know if it doesn't work.
