I know from G+ that you are pretty busy at the moment and thats absolutly fine.
I just wanted to ask: Is the development for the nexus 9 dead or will there maybe be some updates in the future (doenst matter how long it might take)? just a short update about whats going on would be so nice

The last update shows 2014, Faux abandoned the N9 or he's waiting for 5.1 (doubtful). He has been updating the Nexus 6 kernel, so he hasn't stopped developing completely.

No 5.1 source for N9 or google IMGs released, I'm sure when google release 5.1 faux will update

For anyone interested, I unpacked faux's boot.img and added all of the sepolicy stuff required for the kernel to be compatible with CM Theme Engine ROMS and some of the other CM features that require SELinux permissions. I also disabled forced encryption
