favorite thing about 3.1 update

I really have to say, Google turned a tablet that I was ready to sell and buy a blackberry Playbok into a smooth running powerhouse that's almost ready for prime time (still waiting for sd card support from motorola) I chose not to root due to the problems people who rooted are having updating to 3.1. My favorite thing has to be the smoothness of the browser when pinching to zoom and when scrollng through blogs. What used to be a choppy experience that made me question if my xoom really had a tegra 2 processor or if they mistakenly dropped a snapdragon in there when I wasn't paying attention to something that beats I pad at its own game, browser performance. I say a close second has to be the USB host functionality...can t wait to hook up the 360 gamepad and play some emulator games....here's hoping that devs hop on board and put some top tier games on the xoom....my I pad played through dead space which was a awesome game with no stuttering whatsoever...I can only hope that devs take advantage of the extra horsepower of the xoom and truly make some games to blow our socks off

Things can only go up from here with the things talked about @ I/O that are in the pipeline for the next few releases you will be very happy with your xoom

Definitely the USB support....I've already plugged in my Xbox 360 controller and played emulators with em, it worked almost flawlessly(trigger keys not detected) it even moved around the regular Xoom screen lol

This is fantastic -- as I stated in another thread, this update to me is like when I updated my phone during the major updates that increased responsiveness and smoothness noticeably. I hadn't expected it to be so obvious, but it truly is! No longer will I show it to my dev buddies and have to try to brush off the sluggish loading. That commercial where the dude is playing his Xoom and it's like, instant fast and smooth, is becoming more and more of a reality. It's only a matter of time and development

I agree and can't wait for the future of Android. This is just a taste of what's to come
