I am OnePlus 3T user and after 3 years of usage I am planning an upgrade. While my first reaction was to stick to the OnePlus brand, I saw Realme X2 Pro specs and I am quite tempted. Please help me out with few questions:
1. Long term durability - I have butter fingers and drop my phone often. I have my OP3T in a nilkin frosted case and still there are damages here and there. Does anyone have experience on Realme X2 Pro's durability?
2. Privacy and Bloatware - I understand that in today's world getting rid of data collection on a smartphone is difficult. Oneplus is no saint in this area. But I have concerns about the bloatware and frequent home calling in Chinese phones. Is there a way around that on this phone? I understand I can install custom rom but I am concerned about the overall functionality.
3. Magisk - From what I can read and find getting modules to work is a pain. In some roms, Magisk causes the internal memory to be read only. So is there any other way to get modules like Viper4android and Gcam on the phone?
4. Long term battery stability - The whole race towards faster charging is actually great. It is a must have feature for me. But I am concerned about the long term durability of battery life in this day and age. Any ideas on how much does the battery degrade over the year?
