[FFU/UTIL][UPE]★(¯ `•.FFUParttool for WP7 Devices[Info/Extract/Write][v.1.3.1].•´¯)★

Continuation of the main tools for modifying the system full flash update image (*.ffu)..

FFUParttool - Modyfication Image FFU, extract/write/get info imgfs part from structure partition, and general part sections *.ffu image Windows Phone.

General modyfications, and any release this tool is for only WP7 Device Store.

Usage FFUParttool - example:

Usage: ffuparttool.exe <mscf_signed.ffu> <imgfs.bin> [--options]

Options:
-extimgfs              Extract Part IMGFS
-extnk                 Extract Part NK
-wrtimgfs              Replace Part IMGFS

Support Builds Full Flash Update Image System (.ffu):
-- All WP7 Device Release...

Info changes/add/mod.:

version tool - 1.3.1
-- check more header info. from NK partition
-- extract NK partition - extract NK part from full flash update file (*.ffu)

version tool - 1.2.0
-- check more header info. from IMGFS partition
-- write IMGFS partition - insert IMGFS part in full flash update file (*.ffu)

version tool - 1.0.0
-- support full flash update image system - limited edition
-- extract IMGFS partition - dump IMGFS part from full flash update file (*.ffu)

Downloaded archive is good, extract with no error...

There is no error on x64 system, but I run only tool without specifying <mscf_signed.ffu> or <imgfs.bin>.
Can someone provide me those files?

I have FFU for HTC Mazaa. You probably know that HTC Mazaa can't run HTC Connection Setup app because it does not have database for that app. I have found the database file for that app (in .pkg) in a .cab file. I that a way to add that database file to FFU for Mazaa, and then install that FFU on the device?

uh, I'd just apply the cab. You need to have a rom that suits the cabs cert though. Probatly use XboxMOds Rom.

I tried sending HTC OEM Update cabs. But some error about signature verification would pop up at the end. HTC Mazaa is an HTC device but some HTC apps from martketplace also don't run on it saying that they are exclusive to htc phones. So probably HTC Mazaa is missing some certificate from HTC.

I was trying to install following cab using cab sender tool. In the end it would show some error about certificate. Its HTC OEM update and contains database for Connection Setup app.

I think that cab is for the Verizon Trophy, not the Mazaa. And howevermuch similar the phones are on the outside, the internals are pretty different. I wouldn't flash that onto the Mazaa even if I could. ;-)

It might fix a few things, but it will definitely screw up others too.

Unfortunately, this leaves you back at square one. Sigh.
