After reading a lot posts about the problem with sod, i thought about writing a small databaseapp for collecting statistical information about the concerned devices / installations.
Maybe we have a good chance to identify some or THE reason(s) with statistical functions / methods?
But before i start i have a question to you wm5 / wm6 devs: How much work is it to write a small application which exports a (xml|txt|whatever) file with all important information like bootloader, ROM, installed apps including version numbers? This would be nice to minimize users work while participating in that research and may be a nice incentive too.
