I've used Nillkin tempered glass protectors on all my phones for 7 years now(10-15 phones) and I recommend them. Just type in Ebay "Note 8 nillkin tempered" and you will get it. It has the black borders as most protectors now, but it is full adhesive. No touch issues also which is very important for me.
Good luck guys! :)

I found the CP+Max on eBay. Is that the one you're talking about? And it is FULL ADHESIVE? Not just adhesive on the border with a dot matrix pattern?

It is full adhesive. I tried several protectors(tempered glass) and all turned out garbage due to various reasons. I just wanted to try different ones, but in the end I again turned to the good old Nillkin and it does its job. I just wish it was clear instead of black borders.

P.S.
I haven't tried expensive ones 30$ and above. :)

UPDATE: I opened the Nillkin official site and I found that mine is the 3D AP PRo which is not glass! The seller which I got it from has listed it as tempered glass. Sorry for the confusion! I didn't notice this since this protector is really hard.

Nillikin has a full clear on on their site for the S8+ (I think, they all start to run together, LOL).

Ok, so my Zagg Elite actually cuts off part of the screen on the edges PLUS it has a black border so it's even worse. The Singularity was PERFECT, but now is too expensive. It has black borders but managed to be case friendly but not cut off the screen.

How are the Nillikin TGSPs cut?

EDIT: BodyGuardz not Nillikin has a full adhesive TGSP without black borders for the S8/+. But it's $50. Free lifetime replacements though.

To be honest it looks to me it's pretty precise, but since it covers the whole surface area(it's not cut around the top camera and sensors so you can't use those plastic stands which help you put it) I install it as precise as my hands allow me which can't be always perfect. :) Bottom line, it seems to me it covers a bit, but like really really tiny bit so it's definitely not irritating as the rest of the tempered glass protectors. I suggest you give it a try guys, because at least it's not expensive so if you don't find it satisfying you won't regret putting a lot of money in it. ;)

Does it even have cutouts the sensors and/or the camera since the AmFilm one actually has a U cutout for the camera lens and the speaker but have transparent instead of black circles for the glass and it does have a plastic stand for installation.

Hi, It does not have cutouts, it's along the whole surface.

P.S.
Please have in mind this is the http://www.nillkin.com/english/proshow.asp?mid=2&sid=0&tid=0&cid=1&scid=&id=7160&page=1 . I typed wrongly in my last comments about tempered glass, but this is not glass. Sorry for the confusion. Anyways my recommendation for it stays. ;)

Went to Verizon because my aunt needed to inquire about a new screen protector on her V30. I asked them about a screen protector (tempered hopefully) for the Note 8 and they agreed most were garbage, but "theirs" is very good. I might try it later just because apparently for a small fee (I think) you can get a replacement if you drop your phone and crack the screen protector? I'll find out more in April probably. (stuck, prepayed on ST atm).

I bought the Zaggs tempered glass(revised version). It's working very well for me. It's full adhesive, thin black borders around the glass. No rainbow affects, or bubbles, and it fits good to the screen. The black borders on the sides does cover a tad bit of the usable edge real estate, but not enough to affect everyday usage. For example, inside an app like flipboard, the way the app's articles maximizes screen space, the black borders may cut out a small part of the initial letter of the word. Other than that, using it with other apps such as "XDA", I don't experience that affect. I've tried Whitestone, which i thought was very good, sans the messy glue residue after application. However, I tend to lean favorable for zaggs because of the easy installation.

Someone finally did it, a Tempered glass inexpensive full back adhesive for the Note 8, not just the edges. I have to say first that I was VERY Skeptical of this tempered glasses claim to have full adhesive and stick to the phone properly. I am one of those people who has literally tried an insane amount of tempered glasses I think Amazon had to offer, finally settling on the Dome Glass but if /when it breaks you are shelling out another 45 bucks plus the install procedure can be a bit much for some.
But anyway this tempered glass went on so easy with the provided guard rail I truly couldn’t believe it. It laid down and adhered to the phone with a little help from the provided squeegee then I just pressed the edges down and voila!! The ENTIRE glass protector lays down edges and everything no bubbles. Went on just as easy as a tempered glass for a flat screen. This tempered glass is just what I have been looking for since I got my Note 8. Well done… SingularityProducts
Pros:
1. Very easy install with tools provided
2. True tempered glass
3. Fingerprints and smudges are minimal and wipe off easily
4. No dot matrix
5. Touch screen sensitivity stayed not hampered
6. Was $13.89 when I bought mine, but now I see it is $18.89 still better than $45, $34, etc the others with this claim cost
Cons:
1. I truly could not think of one con, very happy with this product I am buying another right now in case this one breaks
2. Price increase from $13.89 to $18.89

hi,

thanks for the news. it's a shame that everyone on amazon has become a bloodsucker of sorts. whatever product is successful immediately gets a price hike and while here it is $5 I have seen them selling a INR17500 graphic card for INR99000 or a wireless charging cover for the note edge, yeah the one launched with note 4, for INR14500.

It is illegal to sell products ofer and above their MRP in India but the guys wont stop till they get their asses kicked. isn't there a similar law in the US and EU, UK banning monopolistic activities? how can they do this?

Amazon shrugs off responsibility saying they cannot control what their sellers sell and charge on the platform. i just wrote to them telling them that they earn a commission from every seller for every sale made which makes them a partner sharing illegal income thus they cant just walk away. am planning to launch campaign against them because In addition to exorbitant prices, people pay for genuine products and get cheap clones while amazon guarantees that everything is 100% original and the lowest prices. what do u think?

sorry for going off topic but the price increase and then going to the link and finding it out of stock got me started because i wont be surprised it comes back at $25 now.

I wonder if the lack of the cutouts is actually degrading the optimal performance of the camera and clarity. The link actually results in a HTML 404 error. Do you mean this one:

It appears they call this a soft screen protector which sounds like it's flexible or do you mean it's actually hard surface like a piece of glass before it's even on the phone?

Nothing illegal about it since unless you can find others selling the same item elsewhere. Besides, in the free market economy, they can charge what they want and it's the consumer who decides to buy or not. It's just the standard laws of demand and supply.

Wherever I feel comfy
When I pre-ordered my Note8 I also bought a "tempered" glass screen cover on the same store for 25€. The label said it was tempered glass but the feeling of it was very plasticky. Needless to say it was complete garbage. Had a dot matrix visible with the outside light, didn't attach too well to the screen wich caused touch issues and it didn't take a big drop to shatter the whole cover to pieces. Now I have 2 covers from gearbest and a brand called Naxtop that cost me less than 5€ for the 2 and they're awesome in comparison. No dot matrix, real glass feeling, has a nice fit to the screen without being too bulky as the other was and it has adhesive on the edges wich prevents dust to enter and no touch issues whatsoever. It's also totally clear, no black borders, and a few days ago I tossed my phone and sent it flying to the asphalt when getting out of my car and the cover is still very usable because only 2 corners have shattered a bit, there's no spider webbing to the screen itself and I still got a second cover in perfect order. I think I'll buy 2 more just to be safe. I'll be posting the link in the meanwhile... Regards.

Edit: here's the link https://gearbest.app.link/g2zWCJGpgL

Yes, it is this one. It seems pretty hard for me compared to other non-glass protectors that I had on my previous phones. About the camera - I usually use my fingerprint scanner to unlock and don't do pictures with the front facing camera so I don't pay much attention to this but it looks that there are no problems with this.
It seems it gets scratches easier than other glass ones that I had though.

Has anyone tried the Peel tempered glass??
What's the Peel tempered glass? Have a link for it.

I was wondering if anyone actually tried the NanoFlowX GlassX Liquid Glass Protector at https://www.nanoflowx.com/glassx as that one seems different since you need to apply multiple layers and also requires a heatsource to dry so probably the thickness of the material matters too and it has another chemical that goes on top that handles the anti-fingerprints, etc that is applied every few months if you look at the instructions.

Yeah, usually when one thinks of non-glass, it's basically the skin like the original invisibleshield, bestskinsever type which was what I originally had used in 2009 before the tempered glass came out. I never use the front facing camera either but was just curious since I remember even with flat screen phones and tempered glass, some had cutouts for the camera and sensors while others just had the glass covering the camera but obviously, the more layers on top of the camera, it might or might not effect the picture quality. I was thinking it might not be as smooth as even glass protectors has that same material as a layer.
