Bricked Lumia 1020

I have followed all the steps up to the first Thor 2 step but it is failing.

I am sure it is a driver issue.
Running Windows 7 32 bit (clean build this morning) When I get to the QHUESB_ARMPRG driver and try to install the X2_FlashDriver_Emergency_XP driver The installation reports that it is unable to find the file specified.

OK so I got the correct drivers installed. (Problem was related to the way I had extracted the driver).

Now when I run Thor 2 I get the attached error.

Pressing the volume key and power button does nothing on this phone.

Obviously I can't remove the battery. Any thoughts?

Insert this line at linenumber 4098:

All the next lines, except the last 3 lines start with:

:101

Replace that with:

:10

So the last 3 lines should not be changed.
Save the hex-file and it will be ready to use.

Thank you. I have tried everything you instructed but without success.

I get this error

thor2 emergencyflashv1 error msg send receive failed
thor2 exited with error code 85021


My phone is Lumia 920, RM-822 Code 059T063
The hex file is 00E9427DF118D9E27D098D13BECB6C6C89CE59F4.hex based on the RHK (I have also used the one you corrected)
Please assist
Additional info:

I was playing Gameloft Asphalt 8 when the battery was only 4%, and then it drained completely and never came back.
I have heard some people with QHSUSB_DLOAD problem their devices recovered after sleeping on charger. Is there a way of charging the Lumia 920 battery "outside" of the phone?

I believe if I give it 15% of charge, I might be able to revive it.

Guys...just wanna ask something...if i want to flash lumia 640 firmware through wp recovery tool in another Lumia 535..can i do this...there is a post in wp hacking about debranding lumia phone...just in that case want to ask if that will brick my phone...please don't ask me why...

Does someone have files for the Lumia 930? Hex .

This is my product code : 059W0X7: RM-1045 VAR EURO 3V CV BR_GRE

I already managed to create the 2 bin files , but need to find out the Hex.

I used Nokia_Care_Suite_5.4.119.1432 for this. and Navifirm+

i mean problem is.. i tried to hard reset my phone but it always restarts an gears showing up..and then a frown...then same process showing again...
can you please tell me is there any way to make my own hex files???? if yes..then how...

The answer is in my previous message. Nobody have the HEX files for non-x2x Lumia devices, and you can not create one.

Have you already tried to flash with Windows Phone Recovery Tool in mode *phone non-detected*?

ok my phone is not being detected by wprt...it says device couldn't be found....please reboot and try again..:(

Okk!!!! just got my phone working...!!!.. :) :) :) :) :)...connected it with lumia software recovery tool and changed the connecting chord..( maybe the chord was broken)....

try this method for all lumia 's ......mine worked...even lumia 535...

just got worked my lumia 535 by this method..
this requires patience and patience....it may take upto 5 mins to get your phone detected by lumia recovery tool...

download lumia software recovery tool ( NOT windows phone recovery tool)
install and open it...
click on my phone was not detected (or whatsoever) below connect your phone pic
now connect your phone to pc
make sure you are using a good connecting cable
now wait..if it recognizes..then good...otherwise wait...
it will display a popup message saying instructions to" press and hold power + volume down button...then click on Ok"
follow them...and press both buttons together and after vibration press ok on lumia software recovery tool..
now wait...you phone should show refresh icon like in win 7 pc or when it enters flash mode...but it will not show red screen or status bar....wait...
wait
wait
wait..
VOILA (whatsoever)...now your phone is being recognized by lumia software recovery tool...download package and install....
i have working lumia 535 again after bricking my phone...

ok please check the case...for me it worked when...
i installed win 10 mobile.....reset my phone...showed gears...never ending gears.....and then switch off.....
when i connected my phone to pc..when bricked...it always starts and showed never ending gears...

AND i have low battery when connecting and flashing software.....i havent confirmed that low battery was reason for my successful flashing...

please check anyone if this method is working or not....

Can someone help me create HEX file for Lumia-822 (RM-845)?
I managed to create gpt0.bin and gpt1.bin files using thor2 and RM845_3051.50009.1446.0077_RETAIL_nam_usa_100_77_460421_prd_signed.ffu file.

I used bin2hex to create HEX file, but it seems that it is not valid. I get 85021 (0x14C1D) error code. In attachment is bin file and logs from thor2.

If someone can take a look, and try to create HEX file I would be very grateful. Thanks!

I've tried downloading the ROM from navifrim+ and datapackagemanager but I keep getting error with thor2 saying that the file is corrupted.

What to do?
