After changing you might need to install A45 PU (Asia) firmware if you still don't see updates
Old news, there's no reason to switch to asian regions as the device is nearing its EOL.
Asian regions have more Oppo bloatware and spyware. Switch to European Dual SIM region and install the android 12 update posted here on the recent pages.

European region seems really finicky with OTAs, some got then without VPN, some need a VPN, some just don't get them at all.
Tap options icon, for some oppo user has form to apply for getting A13 beta, do you have this option?

It depends from the VPN... I do for my Chinese Huawei mobiles but here the regions are close us, India. Any VPN should be fine.1
Let's talk about the ColorOS 13 stable update first. It will start rolling out from January 12, 2023, and six smartphones will receive it on the said date - Find X2 Pro, Find X2, Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition, Find X2 League of Legends Edition, Ace2, and Ace2 EVA Limited Edition.
On January 13, 2023, the K10x 5G and K10 Pro 5G will receive the stable ColorOS 13, with the final rollout of the month beginning on January 31, 2023, for Oppo Pad and Oppo Pad Artist Limited Edition. -
