Finding the way to DOWNGRADE Defy+2.3.6 ROM

if we have fully working ics why would we need to downgrade...defy is rock solid, we don't need warranty...maybe they unlock the bootloader in future updates and that will be just awesome

um no, see the cm9 uses a gb kernal dont know which one. so what you have to do if you want to revert back to cm7 is Wipe Data and Restore your Nandroid,then goto advanced restore and restore boot.img and Devtree.

having cm9, don't do any wipes, flash cm7 and reboot.(I wonder that its a bootloop). reboot. Do wipes and reboot.

There was a change in kernel related to this... but maybe not in beta kernels...

and here i was thinking that my Defy red lens bayer device flashed with full 2.3.6. sbf file for Defy+ is essentially the same device as a Defy+ by now.

What are the differences? Everything works fine with the Defy+ sbf no inverted cam..thats only happening in CM 7.2 nightly

Help with downgrade

I still can not get the downgrade done can someone please tell how to do this step by step. I have problems with the 2.3.6 rom my Moto is rebooting 10 to 15 times a day over and over starting again. I want to go back to CM7 but i am not getting it done with this method here.
