I have about 90% accurate.. I have PanzerGlass protection and sometimes it's maybe little bit slower, than I'm expecting from top class phone.. But it's getting better, after add same finger more times.

I'm loving it overall. Still adjusting a bit, but I love that it's ultrasonic. Got out of a hot bath and it worked perfectly. That never would have happened with the old optical one.

People are way too dramatic about how accurate it is. It's almost always my fault if it doesn't work (I missed the spot). I DO wish it'd show the spot more frequently. Like if you lift your phone with the screen off, it should automatically flash the fingerprint spot or something. Maybe a software update will do something like that?

What's weird is sometimes I'll pick up the phone or pull it out of my pocket and there is just a fingerprint sensor image on the screen. Not the clock or AOD. Just the sensor image. Not sure what activated it or how. Cause if tap the screen the full AOD comes on.

Help is on the way! It's late so I'll install it in the morning.
You only just got August update now? September one has already been rolling out. I did notice a difference after August update though. The only thing I think they can do now is use a bigger sensor next time, my aim is awful, lol.

It happens when you have activated the avoid accidental touches setting, just uncheck it if you find such feature annoying

Oh no. It doesn't bother me at all. PhiPsiDan was saying he wishes it could just show the fingerprint sensor, and I was saying I've had it do it, but didn't know how. Interesting it's linked to the accidental touch setting.

Pretty terrible experience.
The Note 8 FP scanner on the rear was nice.

Hit or miss when it comes to recognition.
At times it would recognize right away, other times it's unable to read my fingerprint at all.
Thinking of registering the same finger twice. May be that will help.

Great, I've got another update to look forward to!

I really like the ultrasonic finger print sensor on the 10+. I came from an S9+ and I never really liked the sensor behind the phone. I always felt like I was searching for the sensor and smudging every lens in sight. I don't think that was a good place for a fingerprint sensor. I'm much more happy just placing my finger on the screen in the right spot. Does it work all the time? Well, I think the sensor on the S9+ did work more often but the Note 10+ one isn't terrible. I have large hands and I work in a factory so my hands tend to be dry, dirty, and scratched up. This does not lead to good results with ANY fingerprint sensor for me. But, the N10+ sensor doesn't really annoy me too often. I love not having to search around the back of the phone so it's all cool to me.

As for face unlock and iris unlock. Well, never use face unlock, it's terribly insecure. Iris unlock was probably more secure but since they switched to a little punch for the camera there is no room for an infrared iris scanner so I can understand why it was removed. So, I don't care. If I want biometric unlock the fingerprint sensor is "good enough" for me.

I did each thumb twice and it seems to help quite a bit.

It's junk. Not a big deal for me since I don't really use FP sensors but i always test them out on each device I own. The FP on my Note 10+ is terrible. Even when it would work it was usually slow and after I put a glass screen protector on it pretty doesn't work at all now. I even enabled the option the increase touch sensitivity but it didn't help. Even my OP6T FP is better than the Note 10's. The hardware FP sensor on P2XL is way better than both the OP6T and Note 10+. I've been using the face unlock on my Note 10+ and have been pleased with it.

This is my first on screen FPS, so I have nothing else (other than Note 8's rear FPS) to compare it to. I'm very happy with it. I logged three thumb print scans using BOTH thumbs on all three scans and moved my thumbs around quite a bit when registering them. The fourth scan I used for my right index finger to use when the phone is laying on a flat surface and I don't need to pick it up and scanned it with multiple angles.

This is actually my second Note 10+, as I had to exchange my first under warranty after a week (the SPen kept waking the screen every 5 seconds while IN the phone (identified by using Nice Catch) and became a strobe light). Both of them (when the first's SPen wasn't acting wonky) responded well, 95% of the time. The other 5% I attributed to my not hitting it just right.
