Receieved my Vega yeterday so I could join the Vegacomb party late. I've a wierd bug with the touchscreen. If I run my fingernail across it, it acts as a double touch. I can even zoom in/out with my finger nail, swiping up and down. This also seem to affect the keyboard, wherre I am getting double clicks. Do I have a faulty screen?

Other disappointments so far are lack of predictie text with the keyboard, and my battery life seems very poor. Does turning the unit to standby turn off all battery zapping apps, or do I have to acctually shut down/reboot eveytime?

Hope I can get these issues sorted as I really like the unit otherwise.

Cheers.

the Vega is kinda known for not having a 'state-of-art' touch-screen. U'll get used on hitting the screen harder. Furthermore, u can also try calibrating it, just in case ; )

keyboard u can get some nicer ones from the market, as a free u can get gingerbread keyboard I tried before, or if you're up to spend a few pounds u can give a try on some paid one, here is the free version of the one I use Slide it

regarding the standby, well... standby (on any device in the world) does uses some power, but depending on what u're running might use more battery (e-mail that keeps checking every 5min, weather apps that keeps checking every 20min, twitter that keeps checking every 3min, those kind of stuff)...
