Those who say they could downgrade it to Lollipop and others who were able to install the VS990 firmware have not intended to provide more information about the procedure. I'm also stuck on this, I bought an LG V10 like H901 from T-Mobile (H90110c), it worked fine until I proceeded to update it to Android 6 using LGUP. At the end of the process the phone did not turn on it was totally dead. Then I verified that my motherboard is VS990, I used the files VS990 Unbrick Qfil but I did not achieve anything. The only one that did was the H90021w Unbrick-Qfil. And now my phone is H900 AT & T, but with the errors mentioned in the title of this post.

SAme thing happened to me, got a used h901bk tmobile , on lollipop( the board inside is f600l korean) which i updated through lg bridge, that damn software bricked it, spent almost two weeks in trying to revive it and like you the only thing that worked was h90021w qfil and then lgup, now its on marshamllow but with bugs, fingerprint not working, flash on camera buggy, manual mode causes full whitewash need to change the shutter speed, etc.
not too mention that my sim doesnt work as the imei is 0 , but i am glad that the rest is okay , hi def songs and photography is what i wanted in the first place, i already have a nonandroid phone for calling,
One thing I cant understand is how these chinese guys on aliexpress load tmobile or ata&t firmware onto a korean or other variant motherboard, and why if we do it causes it to go dead.
but my biggest doubt is

After reliving it, the joy only lasted for a month, then gave him the famous bootloop. What I have read in xda publications is that the mother board is jumper or something and can install Android 5 to any of them but they can no longer be updated.

I did not lose the IMEI, because I used the QFil files for VS990 which was the motherboard of my LG V10. You should have used QFil files for F600L

I could find the QFil files by searching on Google. You need to find it for F600L so you will recover IMEI. And as it is already in H90021W you will have to return to Qualcomm 9008 mode to be able to use the correct QFil files for F600L
