My S6 recognises both of my thumbs even though I have only put one in... Even when I removed the print and tried again it still allows both of my thumbs.

Mine only recognizes the fingers I trained.

That is definitely strange. If resetting to stock doesn't fix the problem, I'd pronounce it defective and take it back.
