Certainly, if the backup with Xperia companion would work maybe. many people have problems with the fingerprint so it's software problem in my opinion.

Nah Xperia 1 has a very bad FP sensor, I checked with my old XZ Premium which works very well.

I got mine working relatively well, when I registered fingerprint the second time (after deleting it) I used to fingers during one registration (index and thumb). I just wanted to see what would happen, now it takes both fingers say... 2/3 times.
