Fingerprint Unlock & VPN ?

Anyone know of a way to *keep* the unlock with fingerprint scan after enabling a VPN ?

The default behavior/policy forces you to switch to either a password or a PIN

the wierd thing is ,, that i tried it on Samsung S6 with same 5.1.1 android and it was working fine ,,,
i have zuk z1 and fingerprint is disabled by administrator
