What should I be looking for? I just got the fire last night and ****ing thing auto upgraded over night so can't root unless hardware downgrade as far as I can tell. Not really wanting to crack it open just yet.You can use logcat and you can see a problem:

Device isn't compatible with that app. I'm going to have to wait and see if somebody cracks the code or if I get desperate enough I may try the hardware down grade glitch. But I'm not that worried about it. I can always build car pc with one of my raspberry pies!I'm using an old QStarz BT-Q1000XT as a GPS source over bluetooth on my Kindle Fire HD 10 (7th gen).
