Can't seem to get GPS over Bluetooth to work anybody got any ideas? Keep getting mock location disabled? Thanks ahead of time!

What should I be looking for? I just got the fire last night and ****ing thing auto upgraded over night so can't root unless hardware downgrade as far as I can tell. Not really wanting to crack it open just yet.
I'm using an old QStarz BT-Q1000XT as a GPS source over bluetooth on my Kindle Fire HD 10 (7th gen).

Device isn't compatible with that app. I'm going to have to wait and see if somebody cracks the code or if I get desperate enough I may try the hardware down grade glitch. Sorry, I forgot that I have to download and installed it from another source. Google Play Store says the Kindle isn't compatible but it is. You can try it from apk mirror
