The TZ image in the latest Kamakiri is still the old TZ (which works fine up to 6280), in order to keep the SOCs efuse from burning.I don't know,i flashed the latest kamakiri, which should have an updated TZ,but i don't know if that's enough.
try more powerful power adapter
I don't know, I have no experience with that. You better ask in 4K root threads.I have question, my Fire tv stick 4k max is bricked, it was unplugged during update and now doesn't give any signal on tv, no logo, nothing, I've tried to plug it into pc with usb and its detected as mtk 65xx preloader. I installed sp flash tool but I don't have scatter file to flash stock firmware. Do you know where I can find scatter file or if there is any other way to flash firmware. I only managed to find firmware in .bin format but cant flash it with sp flash tool.

Hi, Does anyone have the Fire OS 6.2.8.0 (NS6280/3233) .zip or .bin file that they can share as yet?
Today i got some time to diff between 6.2.7.7 and 6.2.8.0 and i couldn't find anything related to efuse , except for the efuse check that they added on 6.2.7.7.
I also checked the kernel source and the only changes are related to firetv remote drivers, hdmi drivers and suspend to ram management.
An interesting thing that can be somehow related to the downgrade issue reported by Igor is a policy context i've found in the ramdisk (screenshot attached).
That FireTV Boot Controller might be related to some service that Amazon added to prevent downgrading. View attachment 5271783
Thanks! I already tested it, and it is working, but if downgraded it won't boot, stuck on fire tv logo. So there is no easy way back.
As long as tz stays at 6.2.7.6 or below, writing the efuse shouldn't work.Yeah. I just downloaded this and inspected it. Unfortunately once the fuse is blown, there is no going back. I saw they added a script that did nothing a few versions ago, and I see now they've updated it to blow the fuse. I'll be putting out a prerooted ROM soon that disables the fuse blowing.
I guess it's useful for people who disabled the OTA updates but still want to keep their FireTV updated. What is the purpose here... I like the file list and all the apps, but i don't understand what the goal is.... Is this to have stock? don't the apps come with stock? sorry, just i dont understand.
