Is the bootloader still unlocked in 7.2.8.5? My ftv3 is rooted and running 7.2.4.9 but I'm willing to update if I can keep my exploitFire OS 7.2.8.5 for sheldonp, works fine with the 7.2.7.3 tz.

Thats fine because TWRP keeps the unlock... i.e. it skips flashing some images, therefore completly safe.My ftv3 is rooted and running 7.2.4.9 but I'm willing to update if I can keep my exploit
I saw that some people are running into bootloop after trying to ota update their unlocked sticks. Just to be clear, if I need 7.2.8.5, should I manually flash a 7.2.8.5 bin file or just ota update?Thats fine because TWRP keeps the unlock... i.e. it skips flashing some images, therefore completly safe.
The OTA-update App downloads partial 'diff' updates first, but TWRP can't install this kind of update, only full updates are supported. If such an update is placed and pending, the cache recovery commands boots twrp and the install fails. Sometimes this results in a kind of loop, until the update and the commands are wiped/cleared... sometimes the OTA-update downloads a full-update (after a failure of the smaller diff update) and ofc this will work just fine.I saw that some people are running into bootloop after trying to ota update their unlocked sticks. Indeed, it is not an issue if you have unlocked it previously. Mine came with 7.2.4.2 when I unlocked it. Tried LOS which was a bit buggy and feature limited in my case, then flashed the latest FireOS again. Is the bootloader still unlocked in 7.2.8.5? thanks for the response, I appreciate it.Indeed, it is not an issue if you have unlocked it previously. Mine came with 7.2.4.2 when I unlocked it. Tried LOS which was a bit buggy and feature limited in my case, then flashed the latest FireOS again.
However, to have Prime Video working with the latest update, you will need to update the tz image as well (from at least 7.2.7.3). I did it by running kamakiri again with the tz image present in the update zip.
To be clear, the OTA always reboots to TWRP and does nothing, so I always update manually through TWRP after downloading the full zip.
Launcher Manager will also not work directly with the latest updates, but it is easy to set the custom launcher as default with adb root. Those instructions are mentioned in the LM thread.

I own only the sheldon device and the URL for this is here. Unfortunately its not able to be unlocked anymore. It was patched after firmwares 7.2.8.5 and up. This exploit was unlockable on version 7.2.7.3 and belowthank so much for your share but .. where is the bin for 7.6.2.4/3337?
