As soon as whatsapp is available for firefox os im going to try it!

But can you tell me a bit about the performance of firefox os compared to gingerbread?

I can not compare it to GB. In between my uses of FxOs, I always use JB. Firefox os definitely feels faster than JB. I said 'feels' as the amount of app/service is way less in FxOs. Overall though, GB is very fast on ray (bar heavy apps) and stable/functional and it hard to justify using FxOs at this stage which still has some issues.

As pointed earlier, these issues is deal breaker for some
- Worse battery live
- Non working camera
- No whatsapp (or other app)

I will probably add non working bluetooth and no notification led to my reason not using it. I would like to try it again in the future, but currently my ray is my primary device.
