I'm from Sweden, but the region doesn't matter much to me - I always use english in my devices anyway, hate the lousy swedish translations.
The SGP512 customization number is the ro.semc.version.cust property, right? If so, it's "1281-9080"

The latest firmware for sgp 512 is same as sgp 521 but it is not available for your country yet..i will try upload using firmware from another country..cheers mate

Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to try it yet ?
Looks like I won't be near a computer until end of the week at the earliest.

I just got a notification from Sony Update Center that there's a new firmware available in my region - will try that as soon as I get near my computer.
