Hey, guys, what about this paid flash service?! I'd like to know if it's possible to change CSC (in my case Chinese version to a global) and what's the risk of doing so?

No risk no fun...

OWN risk!

Code:
AP_R860ZCU1BUHG_CL22353390_QB42796093_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_WATCH_OS11.tar.md5

SM-R860
R860ZCU1BUHG

Hmmmm... Model Name seems 1:1 same in Bootloader

Code:
AP_R860XXU1DULB_CL22777597_QB47736163_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_WATCH_OS11.tar.md5

SM-R860
R860XXU1DULB

Short compared from what I have...

Risk(s):

-
Knox bye bye

-
Not boot because other unknown Security crap...

-
Unknown if FOTA updates fully working...

If I am correct... then you need Teamviewer Software because remote...

So if something fail...

Only my opinion.

Best Regards

Edit 3.
Tested short something under Windows... but maybe outdated...
Maybe with Linux... found something with Android 9 support... maybe...

Has anyone else tried the usb pinout, mentioned by adfree in this thread? I did but no succes so far. Also switched the data minus and plus.

    Greetings

Not sure why you cant unzip.. but try out the program 7Zip. works always

The USB pinout given by adfree in this thread is correct if you switch data - and + !
But.. Only creates an usb connection in download modus/upload modus. Im trying to get an USB ADB connection.. Anyone has any suggestions?

Interesting fact: If you charge the watch on the charging puck and connect the USB while watch is normally booted. And disconnect the watch from the charging puck, it will keep on charging through the USB. But when you connect the usb while not being charged by the puck, it wont start charging.

Whoa cool! However i am still kind of lost in that regard. I would need Colombia's codes to try activating LTE capabilities here in my country. Using such files shall NOT brick my wach, right?
Well i really dont know much about that. mY watch4classic 46mm is not LTE. Maybe adfree or some one can tell

I want to make a small contribution to the thread in question, I have a gw4 ldu which did not allow any device configuration. I downloaded the SM-R890 EVA8 file and unzipped it with 7zip and then retransformed in tar format again with 7zip. I then connected the gw4 with netodin and uploaded the file to the device. Finished the job everything works wonders, it also received the latest update released by samsung. Tanks to Adfree for his hard job
