After Command chinese Language is visable as I set TGY for Hong Kong...
But still XSA und Software...
Then I did FAC Reset... in Standalone Mode I see now TGY is fully set...

Flashing now AUGF OLB again to undo Root... and be ready for FOTA update...

XmitData is not new to me...
Saw this in Tizen time... but not with GW4... first time...

Now I have only 40 % battery left...
GW4 seems not to charge in Download Wireless Mode like Tizen Watches...

I need "only" to flash super.img...

Charging seems possible but not to 100 %...

Tiny summary...

SM-R860 EVB4 shows something with Charge battery up 15 % in WL DL Mode...
But it really charge to 15 % so you have chance to use netOdin again for 30 Minutes...

My old 300 Mbit WiFi Dongle seems too slow to flash whole 4000 MB super.img

AUGJ shows to charge minimum 20 % battery to use WL DL...

Juhu... 5 % more...

But f&%ing tiny b not charge anymore... to reach 15 % nor 20 %...

It seems only to charge 4 % to land in Odin Mode...

Both AUGJ and EVB4 shows this Picture... found in RAMDISK of Recovery...

I ever looked how much time needed... before...
IMHO 45 minutes or something like this... for all files at once.

Again. Never had problems with SM-R870 nor SM-R875F...
Only my dam. SM-R860 has problem with my old NotebookS WiFi Hardware...

Only as info...

Will try to collect infos... how much time others need for full flash with netOdin...

But 15 % Battery is really Frechheit...

My Tizen Smartwatches charged in Wireless Download up to 100 %...
Without such stupid Restriction...

Need help to collect Info(s) about WiFi speed...

IMHO we can see "Link speed"...

Here I see

65 Mbps in 2,4 GHz Network...

I have 54 Mbps... need to check again...


Samsung s h iii RTL work since dayS not... GW4
Also they are not able to add GW5...

Tizen Watches work on RTL... so not my Config Error...

Hi, first post in a while.
All I need to know is how to safely revert my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro to previous AVI4 version from current AVK6. I've done this multiple times on the phone and personally never update my phone, my windows pc or pretty much anything in the past 2 years since Samsung, Microsoft etc pretty much always take away features instead of adding them since they already have everything ahead of Apple and now the only thing left is to add this bit of so-called security by trimming and locking down their software these days.

Anyways, I might have been out of my mind to update to latest wear os version on my Watch 5 Pro thinking it would enable the new temperature sensor drivers but instead it secretly got rid of my custom ringtones on my watch. Now that's no biggie since a few adb commands is all it took to re-enable them. But now I noticed that my favorite bubble cloud wear watch face no longer auto updates live weather or show the accurate phone battery percentage on my watch. And that according to developer is cause Samsung changed how background processes are handled in new AVK6/7 firmware which breaks that. And that which I have been using I can not fix. So simple solution downgrade software and add watch 5 pro as my other device to no update list! After all, if it ain't broken, don't fix it. So yeah sorry for long post, just want to know how to go from current AVK6 to previous October AVI4 cause everything there worked perfectly for me but I couldn't find any concrete info about it so posting here since you all are discussing about sideloading firmwares.

For downgrading it's only dangerous if bootloader of the watch is not the same. Or is there anything else I should be aware about?

I use Samsung Pay on my watch and certainly I don't want to trip Knox. My rooting days are long gone since everything runs fast and have plenty of storage nowadays.
However, I might have ran into another issue - I can't find Canadian AVI4 firmware. Maybe there is an program that could retrieve it?

The firmware will have to be the same thou as Canadian varient of Samsung LTE watches have different modem hardware as far as I know.

    I have installed GWA3 Update on my German (DBT) SM-R860 via FOTA update.zip Delta file...

    From GVK7... with help of earlier mentioned System Shell exploit...

    Here is the Delta file:

    329 MB file on MEGA

    GVK7 --> GWA3 SM-R860

    Step 1 is to push the file to device with ADB.

    Later... I need some tester... to confirm...

    As you can see, there are 1 more CSC file that we need to change, Samsung Pay can't adds my card, so there are a problem.

    We need to change "omcnw_code.dat" too. But I can't copy it to /efs/imei because of permissions. If we can reach to temporary root access, we can do it too and it's gonna work properly.

    in my gw4 r895f i change dbt to btu and then did a full reset. and at the start got a choice between uk and ireland. I check omcnw_code.dat and get btu. probably need to do a full reset after changing csc

    Meanwhile to understand maybe more about funny Region... helpfull this Android App to check Firmware:

    Search Galaxy device firmware easily.

    It is possible to decrypt from Test Server...

    Then maybe more clear...


    OXM seems also for DBT ZTO and so on...
