From GW5 I have only this...

netOdin

SM-R900 AVH6

SM-R910 AVH6

SM-R920 AVG6

From GW4 I know downgrade is possible...

GW5 not tested... no idea...

OWN Risk!

Best Regards
Thanks a ton for sharing r920 AVG6 firmware! Thanks to you I managed to downgrade firmware from AVK7 which was a total disaster for battery life of my gw5pro.

Cheers!

Found this in Combination Firmware AVI4...

Not tested yet...

Stupid test...

I mixed FAC Kernel AVI4 with GVK6... runs... but battery shows 0...

So IMHO really risky... as Charging not work...
Recovery Kernel shows correct Battery...

Edit 1.

Maybe Filemanager inside Combination Firmware...
Code:
com.sec.android.app.myfiles

I am not sure as I saw only Video... with yellow Icon
FTL MyFiles

Hi.

If I understood correctly it is possible to wirelessly connect the watch with the samfw frp tool program.
Can you explain the process that must be carried out in detail?
I am familiar with the program and the csc change and would like to test if it is possible to do the change on the watch.

I usually write in Spanish so I'm sorry if there is something that is not clear when using the translator.

Thank you

I have only with WinHex changed adb command:
Code:
kill-server

In EXE from SamFw_FRP_Tool_v3.31.zip...

Unicode

I am from Germany.

If you still not know what I did. Then write me Conversation aka PM aka Private Mail...

I have no Phone to test yet... but CSC change seems not done via ADB... but with Samsung Modem Driver...

Thanks.

I am going to try. Indeed, the program uses adb to read the csc codes that are available and little else. Reboot for example. I don't have the list of adb commands handy right now as I know the csc available on my phones. Indeed it is a matter of the AT+ commands that are sent to change the status and parameters through communication with the modem when it is in test mode. I tried the commands from the yat program console with good results, always with a usb connection and that is why I am interested in being able to test if it is possible to do it without a physical connection. Now I write you the AT commands that are used.

Edit.
The commands.
I put phe because it is my region and it was to return after a previous change. By the way, in my case I have the sm-r890 model and it enters test mode without problems by dialing *#0*#

You managed on your SM-R890 with USB cable? To change CSC on non rooted Watch?

Thanx in advance.

I will check my SM-R875F GVK6... with soldered wires...

No, no.....

I feel the confusion. The csc change was done on my phones with the usb cable. I did not perform any modifications or soldering on the watch under warranty and this is the reason why I am trying to do the process wirelessly. I am also not rooted on the phones. I want to do it with this method because root is not required and it doesn't alter the knox. I know that the test mode works well on the watch because it is the first thing I tried when I started testing.

Memo to me...

With my new Notebook Windows 11...
I need 20 Minutes for 3700 MB Firmware Flashing with netOdin...

Tested with my SM-R875F and the only available AUGF Firmware...

With my old Hardware 40 Minutes and sometimes trouble...
Not good for tiny battery if fail...

Best Regards

Edit 1.

Nice.

I can now also change CSC WITHOUT Root.

Need few minutes to charge battery.
Then I can also check if local FOTA Delta aka update.zip work...

Now I am on SM-R875F AUGF...

If I am on GVK6 I can check again if still CSC change work.

@sergey1977
I wrote to you Conversation...

At the moment for Windows user easier to /install/enable this system shell trick.
As 1 Click tool

And the other stuff I have tested is Copy and Paste Commands...

Anyway. I am not good in Instructions...

So feel free to talk with me in Conversation so I can help you...

The normal part with normal ADB... to change active CSC with Copy and Paste...

Prepare step...

A
Code:
mps_code.dat

Unpack... open with WinHex or other Editor...

In my file XFA humanreadable

Change in DBT or TGY or whatever you dream to have as active CSC...
Important. This Text must be in Firmware package...

B
Basic Commands... I hope connection can be achieved without additional help...
Code:
adb connect IPaddress

Then push edited file:
Code:
adb push mps_code.dat /sdcard

C
Then this is to activate system user aka system shell aka mighty power like OS...

Good for Windows User 1 click EXE...
Bad... this EXE at the moment makes trouble with Antivirus like AVIRA...

Later more...

Best Regards

The funny part....

D

Copy EXE and APKs into same folder where your ADB is...

Code:
adb connect IPaddress

This step is need to connect to Watch!

E
Look at screenshots...

If this happens, then you can enter Commands as SYSTEM user...

Caution...
Double click could lead to crash of EXE... some other things leads to crash...
In main NOT Reboot Watch to prevent damn Watch is faster and replace APK with new again...
Only reboot Watch if EXE only crashes...

F
If stable adb Window like on screenshot...

Code:
cd /sdcard
cp mps_code.dat /efs/imei

active CSC is changed...

You can controll/check by typing:

Code:
cd /efs/imei
cat mps_code.dat

In my Screenshot TGY as active CSC for OLB Region... SM-R875F for instance...

Best Regards

    Oh nice.

I have "updated" my SM-R875F from GWB1 OLB to US Firmware via USB cable and Odin...
    R875USQU1GWB2/R875UOYM1GWB2/R875USQU1GWB2

This time my WiFi detected and connected...

So I can play little bit... with US Firmware...

With old FVD4 I had no luck to find my WiFi AP...

For stupid tests this is much better...

Only Contra for now... no Bootloader Unlock so no Root yet...

GWB1 is online for my SM-R875F ... but like very often... not for my CSC TGY...

So will use System Shell Exploit again to apply update.zip...

    Edit 1.

Successfully applied the update.zip from GWA3 to GWB1 via System Shell Exploit...

    Hi,

I really need help - during a failed OTA upgrade my SM-R875F is now stuck in download mode.

I really nead a rom for SM-R875F UK/EU that can be updated normally (not just stuck on the rom version).

I have only been able to find the Australia rom (July 2021 version for F but I cannot update the rom) and the USA (R875USQU1GWB2) rom (esim does not work in UK).

Or if anyone can assist with getting the Australia rom (smR875F_AUGF_OLB) on this site to update that would help!

Or getting the USA rom to use the UK/EU esim - maybe CSC and modem.bin needs?

    All help please!
