Still no reason to buy GW4 for me...

Tooo many protections against fun...
Nothing really interesting in "App Store(s)"...
No Full Firmware... leaked
No Service Manual... leaked

Seems not possible to add manually Accounts... you are forced to use Phone...

IMHO expensive but boring...

I reached only deadends... no solution found for nearly all problems I have...

Maybe in 2022...

Best Regards

Maybe as project for 2022...

Upload Mode... aka Ramdump aka Kernel Panic aka chance to dump RAM and/or eMMC...

"Latest" RDX Tool I have is this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/upload-mode.1176189/page-3#post-77375046
RDX 6.1.4

Maybe helpfull...
Code:
*#9900#

See Screenshots...

I was NEVER able to find WiFi solution for Tizen...
I can only dump PIT file with netcat... so Odin/netOdin related... solution for Tizen... exists...

Still I have no GW4... :alien:

Best Regards

My old posts... WiFi Upload related... (((RDX))) and TCP... and Odin/netOdin dump...

Solution dump PIT looks like this:

Only on Tizen tested...

NO idea Android Toy GW4...

@kilocop

IMHO more usefull in my opinion... if you spend time and energy in helping to make Upload Mode visible...
And in next step find solution to use over WiFi...

I am not blind nor blond... I know the offer about LDU...

Upload Mode contain chance to dump Firmware...

Best Regards

Edit 1.

Old way in Tizen world was to enable Debug... via *#9900#

Maybe for GW4 additional steps required...

If I had GW4... and at the moment NO...

Step 1.
Set Debug MIDle or Debug High in *#9900# menu

I would start with Debug HIGH...

Then reboot and check if Upload and/or Upload wireless is in Reboot menu... aka """Secret"""

If nothing changed...
Proceed with Step 2...

Again *#9900#

This time concentrate eyes on Settings with magic word Upload...
Check Screenshots to find them...

Thanx in advance.

Best Regards

Hello Experts,

I changed by CSC via *#272*IMEI# and since hasn't received DUJA update. Region is MEA. If anyone knows how to install DUJA or future firmware updates or change back the CSC, then please let me know

Because it is 4 years ago...

Upload Mode... RDX aka Ramdump related...

Download Mode (Wireless) aka Odin/netOdin related...

PIT dump aka Partition Layout dump over TCP...

Untested with GW4!
Own Risk!

Edit 1.

dumpPITwithNetCat_v2.zip seems my "latest" better last result of 2018 for Tizen Wearable...
Not tested GWA nor GW nor GWA2...

No idea if protocol changed...

Minimum ODIN THOR handshake should be...

Code:
nc -l -w 5 -p 13579 < ODINcommand_full.bin > response_full.bin

No idea if GW4 use also Port 13579...

Edit 2.

Added also old Video how netcat looks like on Windows PC... if Command Batch is executed...

Tested only with my Tizen Devices...

Old results:
SM-R732
and
SM-R760

PIT dump via TCP fully work...

Now I found some verbose added Batch...
Code:
nc -vv -l -w 5 -p 13579 0<ODINcommand_full.bin 1>response_full.bin
listening on [any] 13579 ...
192.168.49.1: inverse host lookup failed: h_errno 11004: NO_DATA
connect to [192.168.49.20] from (UNKNOWN) [192.168.49.1] 55664: NO_DATA
net timeout
 sent 10244, rcvd 3036

Received not enough Bytes for full PIT... first I thought 5 Seconds are not long enough... but seems my ODINcommand_full.bin is not long enough to dump full PIT for:
SM-R500
and
SM-R820

No feedback from GW4 user(s)...

Best Regards

Edit 1.

Seems I am here again...

Need to check something...

Edit 2.

After some check with WinHex and compared with Total Commander...
Received data is correct... but only 3000 Bytes of PIT

In case of SM-R500 and SM-R820... RSA2048 Signature not received...

336 Bytes missing...

I need to find my old sniffed files... maybe I have all stuff to make new ODINcommand_full.bin... to capture whole PIT...

I am not able to fix this...

Code:
emulator -avd Wear_OS_Round_API_30_v5 -verbose -port 5037 -accel auto -engine auto

WARNING | Requested adb port (5038) is outside the recommended range [5555,5586]. ADB may not function properly for the emulator. See -help-port for details.

C:\Users\FU\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\emulator>emulator -help-port

at startup, the emulator tries to bind its control console at a free port
starting from 5554, in increments of two (i.e. 5554, then 5556, 5558, etc..)
this allows several emulator instances to run concurrently on the same
machine, each one using a different console port number.

use '-port <port>' to force an emulator instance to use a given console port

note that <port> must be an *even* integer between 5554 and 5584 included.
<port>+1 must also be free and will be reserved for ADB. if any of these
ports is already used, the emulator will fail to start.

It seems not ADB not found problem... because with -verbose option I can see ADB is detected etc...

Tried also other ports. etc... no luck yet...

Will check on other PC... but at the moment no 64 Bit Windows for tests...
My Asus EEEPc with 2 MB...

Best Regards

Edit 1.

Hmmmmm.... tried only with API 30... 2 different Images....

Now will try API 31... I hope this is no Gag with this API Level...

Tried on second old PC with AMD CPU ... first attempt with old Intel...

Win 10 before Win 7...

Fresh install of Win 10...

Seems I am not smart enough to install and run this s hhhh

Is somebody here who is able to install Android Studio with f. Wear Emulator and confirm easy peasi or f. not work?

@kilocop

You tried suggestion(s) Upload Mode and/or Download Mode PIT dump?

I still have no reason to buy GW4... to be again Alleinunterhalter...

Seems nobody is interested in progress

@A.l.l...

Meanwhile somebody checked Watch Face if start of other Apps or Activities possible?
Again.
Smart users with Phone used such method to change CSC... only as tiny hint...

Hmmm... magic... I can not download Chipmunk...

Canary build

Get the leading-edge features in a lightly tested build.

Okay... but Bumblebee download start...

Edit 3.

I have now:
android-studio-2021.1.1.18-windows.zip

And second attempt seems work to download:
android-studio-2021.2.1.6-windows.zip

Edit 4.

No installer but ZIP...

Edit 5.

In stable Arctic Fox Wear OS Preview Image is Revision 6...
In Chipmunk I can download Revision 7...

Edit 6.

My old crappy AMD crap seems to have trouble with GPU driver... Vulcan bla bla crap... on Win 10
Old Nvidia 8200 inside...

I have tiny progress with S. Apps... Store on Emulator...

I can enter chinese Store and download...
    ... then install via ADB

If I can find unknown source, then maybe no ADB needed

Strange at the moment I can not enter other countries... only QA and China...
Maybe they disabled Stores for other CSC/MNC ...

Wow. Really huge Apps... over 100 MB...
UC Browser... no idea if in international Stores too...

I do Backup on Virgin AVD... maybe I need not hundred files...
