No root as of yet.

You can reset the phone entirely in flash tool by selecting the option to wipe everything.

Ok, quick question: I'm on 2.67 stock, locked BL, but I really want to start modding my Z without losing all my data. My idea is: I backup everything using PC Companion, root the phone using DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit, backup the TA partition just in case, flash this new firmware via Flashtool, unlock the bootloader, root the phone using CWM-Based Recovery 6.0.3.7 for Xperia Z by DooMLord, flash DooMkernel v19, restore my data backup via PC Companion. Is any of this going to go wrong?
