The issue with the NC2 modem was that it isn't an official release modem. NC2 is a leaked modem and there's no telling when in the development process it was released.

Looks like MJE it is... Since going MJE from NC2 I've kept a very solid 4G signal (haven't seen 3g at all). I've also got reception where NC2 was showing a red circle with a line through it. Wonder what Verizon is thinking. Note 3 users will upgrade to S5 with poor LTE performance? :p

Is band 4 aws running up there? I know it is in some parts of ATL

Sure is!!

Off Jonesboro road by the Best Buy. Get all bars of 4G Band 4 goodness!

I actually live in Fayetteville though and there is no band 4 there.

EDIT: As I recall though, for some reason my Band 4 is a little different. I am on Band 4, 20mHZ. I think it is supposed to be Band 4, 10mHZ.

Anybody with a DE try this?
I do have a DE. I have flashed nc4. So far so good. Nc2 made my n3 unstable. NC4 is similar to mje in my house. I have several spots where I measure dbm and speed. Will compare. Also I want to look for drops to 3g from lte.
Dbm in my house are not much diff. Speedtest about the same , both compared with mje vs nc4. -89dbm and 25-30 mb/s down.

Thanks for chiming in, appreciate it! Just finished flashing NC4 and all is well, so anyone with a DE should be good. Gonna run NC4 for a few days to see how well it stacks up vs MJE
