I installed the update with great expectation. (Downloaded directly from the NAVLYNXS website) But the result was disappointing.
The Display size settings are certainly saved. This is a nice improvement. However, the application settings (MacroDroid, NavigationBar ...) are still not saved.

Can anyone confirm that this is working? Your previous version bricks the device! Any changes to update.zip seems to brick the device and you have to recover it with Miracle.. Installation was fine, but after second reboot the device is dead. No lights and no boot. So be careful with that!
Can you give some insight how you rooted this (Did you just patch the boot.img?) and how you repacked the image to get it work? Some guys here try to figure that out.The firmware has not been verified and is used at your own risk

@localos I would like to know that, too. We would like to edit the update.zip ourselves, for example to replace the floating button, but even after changing / replacing a single APK, the device can no longer be switched on after the update.

This i no Image you can mount. Its an Android Image based on Linux Filesystem. This is only for flashing the device.

I'm on the latest firmware (10/21), and while it has resolved the volume/audio channel issue for me on my Hyundai, the audio quality still drops out anytime Google Maps or an audio assistance is running.
Is there any way to force an override so all apps use the same higher quality audio channel?

Ok, je vais le faire en Français, c'est plus facile pour moi.
1) Dans ta voiture, une fois Carlinkit installé, utilise Chrome pour télécharger OTA.apk à l'adresse suivante: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=7161016148664849834
2) Clique sur le fichier téléchargé et installe-le. (Il faudra autoriser l'utilisation de Sources Inconnues quand on te le demanderas).
3) Ensuite, sur ton PC, télécharge le dernier firmware ApplePie là: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=333043
4) Renomme-le "update.zip" et copie-le sur une clé USB.
5) Insère la clé USB dans le Carlinkit et met le contact de ta voiture. Le firmware va être installé.
6) Profite!1

Update procedure is mostly the same on all boxes:
NOTE: (do not power off the MMB box during the upgrade process)
- Preparation：
- Unpack the downloaded zip and place the unpacked Update.zip into the root of a sd card/usb drive
- Rename the OTA upgrade file to update.zip or upgrade_pkg.zip (for CP600);
- After the MMB system detects the upgrade package, the screen will show a screen to upgrade. According to the point, select [Upgrade Now]
- The system will automatically copy the OTA upgrade file to the MMB box
- After the copy is completed, the system will restart and install (MMB box indicator light effect: red flashing)
- After installation is complete, the program will be loaded (MMB box indicator light effect: blue flashing)
- After the start up is complete, you will enter the main interface of the MMB box (MMB box indicator light effect: blue)

Not all car manufactures have implemented the carplay service correctly, so consider also updating your head unit on next service or contact you dealer for it.

How to upgrade the firmware for ApplePie:
Obtain the firmware upgrade package, the file named "update.zip", the file size is about 1.35G, copy update.zip to the TF card (directly in the root directory, no need to build a folder), no need to decompress, Then insert the upgrade card. The upgrade card does not have to be a blank card, and it does not have to be an upgrade file, that is, the TF card you use every day can be used as an upgrade card.
The system detects that there is an upgrade file in the card, a pop-up window will ask whether to upgrade, immediately (within 20 seconds) click the "Cancel" button to cancel the upgrade operation, please pull out the upgrade card; if you click "OK" or do nothing ( Wait 20 seconds for the timeout", the system will enter the upgrade operation.
First, copy the upgrade file to the internal storage space. The copy progress will go from 0% to 100%. After the copy is completed, the system will pop up a window prompting that it will automatically restart. At this point, you can observe the red indicator light of the box. When it starts to flash, you can already pull out the upgrade card. The remaining steps will be completed automatically. You just need to wait to enter the ApplePie interface again.
The entire upgrade process takes about 10 minutes.
Note: It is best not to power off during the upgrade process, and do not pull out the TF card during the process of copying the upgrade file to the internal memory. Of course, if the above situation occurs, ApplePie will not be damaged, and it will work normally after restarting.
