Is there any way to prevent the Carlinkit AI Box Mini (CPC200) from automatically showing up in the car's infotainment screen? I simply want it to boot normally upon starting the car, but not being shown on-screen until I select Carplay from my cars main menus.

yes go into settings on box, look for auto startup. if you use android auto , you also need to go into AA settings and choose option for startup.

i use cpc-200 on my 2020 corolla, it does enable the tbox hotspot.

This is because the box offers 2 ways to use;
(1) Android Auto or
(2) Solo Unit with standalone OS / SIM enabled.

the hotspot is turned on for any or both choices to always communicate in the background.

Sometimes I use both (have solo SIM CARD) for option 2. Going back and forth pending if I have my mobile on me.

Though i prefer to use (#2)
easier and unlocked to use what ever app you feel like

Thanks for confirming that this hotspot option is doing what it is supposed to do. I don't have Android Auto but somehow the unit doesn't seem to always remember I wanted it on or off, so mine appears to have a random bug. Like today, it did not notify me that hotspot was disabled, but yesterday it reminded me twice. Oh well, just a few more clicks here and there.

Thanks, but I mean the Android 9 interface, not Android Auto. I would just prefer the AI box interface not to appear in my cars screen automatically upon starting the engine until I prefer to show it. But maybe thats not possible?

I have an android box (Model PLC-S21 QCM6125) and I can't seem to get any of the updates to work. I have tried several. The update file is detected and when I press 'Install' it reboots and the blue light flashes like it's supposed to. However, it never starts back up. It just keeps flashing. I've left it for over an hour before unplugging and booting back up. Unfortunately update never applies. I check the SD card and there's a bunch of files extracted on there. Seems like it installed everything to SD card instead of the dongle itself?

I checked settings under build number and it specific lists 'NA' at the end. Do I need specific firmware for North America? Thanks.

For now, I think it's probably the latest firmware. If something goes wrong, it's a good idea to give feedback to Cartizan.

Hi dears only to advice, if you are from America do not install the update with date 30.05.2022 for CPC-200-tbox (android 9 box) it generates playstore continuous force close and Install some bloatware, I think it must be an update for Asia. Until to day for me the best software version is from 26.04.2022.

I have the Isudar 6125 box and have been trying to update the firmware.

I put the update.zip in root, put the SD card in the box and I get the prompt asking if I want to update (including the wipe option). I select update, it says rebooting and then . . . nothing. I wait as long as 20 minutes and the box never reboots. If I unplug it and then plug it back in, it boots and is on the same old firmware.

I've tried several different firmware update files from different dates, different SD cards, everything . . . same result.

Any ideas?

Looks like they removed the 26.02.2022 version and put a new 30.05.2022, which now works for me. The previous version changed all my settings/language to Chinese and it appeared it was for the ApplePie box and not the CPC-200 TBOX. I finally got my TBOX CPC-200 restored/upgraded and working again. Whew!

Hello everyone,
I received my new CP-308 device yesterday, and after testing it i were really disappointed, there are so many issues which i hope you guys have some information on how to solve them biggest issues are:
1. Its very slow and flickery and buggy! it takes long time to load the maps and videos
2. while running the screen becomes black and stops responding, i had to restart it many times
3. when i connect my phone using Android Auto the resolution is low and blury and big audio lag from connected mobile
4. When i play music the audio quality is very bad, its mono, its being played on the car as if it was a phone call not media

i think all those issues are software fixable so if they can be fixed! specially number 3, 4
