I've been trying to get Google Assistant working on my carlinkit tbox plus (sd 665, android 11). Unfortunately it just says requirements not met after I launch the app. Any ideas how to bypass it?

Try 1106? That's the password for the lower spec CP-300 box

Im trying to update the firmware of my GT0464NA to hopefully solve a bluetooth issue I am having. I have found a few sites with firmware that is supposed to be compatible but cannot get any of them to install. I extract the update.zip file and put it in root of the SD card. Reboot the Carplay box and it detects the file and asks to install it. I press the wipe all data checkbox and then proceed. The device reboots, the red light flashes a few times then switches to a much faster blinking green light. This can go for hours with no change. If unplug the USB and plug it back in it boots up to the old firmware but completely wiped of all apps.
I have also tried to do the upate by going into system but it does the same thing. Red lights blink, then faster green ones that never end.
Anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong? This is one of the firmwares that I have tried.

Mine did the same thing (it's a GT0464 clone). My guess is it wipes data, tries to flash the update but throws an error then sits there.

I've been trying to work out a way to flash the payload.bin manually.

Identical problems here - my unit has a habit of rebooting itself randomly and frequently, logging itself out of spotify in the process, and it's pretty badly unresponsive to boot. I'm hoping a firmware update will fix it, but the seller was so useless I charged it back, and trying that MIC firmware, I have the same problems as yall. Also for some reason I can't link bluetooth devices to it (OBDII dongle) which i've seen other boxes do just fine.

I did it and I worked!
But I haven't enough time to setup the whole box yet as while updating it you even have to reset it right after the update

Do you recall which version you tried from that page, android 10 or 12, that worked? Is the exact download you succeeded with still available?

It was based on Android 10. I can’t even remember the exact version, it was several months ago. I don’t really know if it’s still available anyway. Sorry.

someone has tried to update android for headunit? i've tbox v3 carlinkit but i'm blocked to android 9 and i want to upgrade to android 11/12.

I just got the Carlinkit 4.0 PLUS for my 2018 Camry. It works fantastically, I just wish I had the ability to increase the resolution or bitrate of the CarPlay stream. Additionally, I wish it ran at 60hz like the default navigation system runs at for the car. Carplay runs at 30. By any chance, is it possible to force 60?

I have a QCM6125 box under the brand BINIZE from Amazon with Android 10. When I load the update file into the SD card and do the firmware update, the box will restart, blink red, and then quickly blink green forever. If I unplug and turn the unit back on, it is basically just factory reset but doesn't appear to have anything new on the device or with the firmware.

Any ideas or tips?

I have a carlinkit ccpc2oo tbox ai plus 8g 128g android 11 the box does not get past the startup screen when connected to car its done this since recieving it
I contacted carlinkit but no one responds is there any way to reinstall the firmware again to try to see if this fixes the problem
it askes to connect to the car but then stops on boot screen no animation I tried resting but no joy can some one supply an image file and a method for reinstalling the firmware
I have android tv boxes and updated their firmware but cannot find any tools to do this with qualcom 6125 chip
i tried puting update on sdcard but nothing happends is the unit just faulty and has anyone else come accross this problem
any help appreciated
I am an electronics tech with programing experience with windows but I dont know where to start with this devicenits only days old

That means the file you're trying to update with isn't compatible with your box so it aborts the update.

Did you managed to repair it? i Have exact same problem blue and green light works bluetooth is on but o startup just teh animation and there it stucks. tried almost everything and carlink suppport i not very helpful

I have the same issue, how you will install the new firmware, because you can only do it when the tbox it's connected and you can managed through the car screen, unless there is other method
