Support team told me firmware on webpage are only for android 11 Box, if you upgrade android 12 system it will crash.

I have a carlinkit ccpc2oo tbox ai plus 8g 128g android 11 the box does not get past the startup screen when connected to car its done this since recieving it
I contacted carlinkit but no one responds is there any way to reinstall the firmware again to try to see if this fixes the problem
it askes to connect to the car but then stops on boot screen no animation I tried resting but no joy can some one supply an image file and a method for reinstalling the firmware
I have android tv boxes and updated their firmware but cannot find any tools to do this with qualcom 6125 chip
i tried puting update on sdcard but nothing happends is the unit just faulty and has anyone else come accross this problem
any help appreciated
I am an electronics tech with programing experience with windows but I dont know where to start with this devicenits only days old

If anyone was wondering for the MMB Max and iHeylinkit MTK665 & MTK808 boxes the engineering passcode is 1868. Sadly not to much useful in there but these boxes do have a very nice UI!

They say this, but of course they do - they want to sell you a new product for $200 more without committing any effort to new hardware at all.

I'm still very interested to know if anyone's tried the upgrade and verified either that it fails, or that it works.

I tried to contact Carlinkit support about the verizon sim card issue and they've been supremely unhelpful. I finally got a reply after literal weeks and it was one line, not really addressing the problem, not offering any useful explanation, and not helping with any path forward.

This looks super promising, might have to give it a go! If anyone else does first, I'd love to hear whether it's even worth bothering - any UI differences or quality of life improvements or anything like that.

There is the new firmware for CPC200 Android 12 on their website. It looks like the firmware is made for tester but I don't know why they publish the firmware.
I did upgrade my Box using that version and now my box isn't stable anymore. The system crashes many time at boot and no audio
