Hello. When I flash my PLAYAIBOX smd6125 UX665 box with QFIL, after the successful flash, the device restarts and immediately gets into EDL state and PC recognizes it as Qualcomm at serial port and none of the LEDs are lighting on. Basically the device gets to this mode whether I am pressing the reset button or not. Before it got to this state only when I pressed the reset button while plugging the USB cable. The device is also not flashing update.zip file, nor turning on LEDs when connected to power. When connected to the car, it is recognized as the device for Android Auto or MirrorLink, but if I press connect, after the attempt it says "check the device is compatible with the android auto" Is there any way I can get the device out of the EDL state? Is there a way to flash the device with new firmware directly from the PC? Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Is the box you have UX999Plus1.0 from PLAYAIBOX?
I don't have the QFIL image file to restore UX999Plus1.0, so I can't give you precise advice on how to recover it.
If the structure of the UX999Ultra is the same as the UX999Plus1.0, there is a reset button on the back of the UX999Ultra.

one on one problem, I never managed to overcome it. I had to send the BOX to the factory back in China, if you find a solution, I will be extremely grateful for advice for the future.

Hi, I just got playaibox plus 2.0 (ux999plus 2.0 or apm1288s) it's currently on march firmware so downloaded latest firmware dated 13-06-23 renamed it to update.zip but it's not being detected for update. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated. Previously had carlinkit and never had issue updating it.

Recently I purchased a carplay AI BOX 2G+16G

I've asked the seller to share the firmware hopefully it will help someone to use it, and also mentioned to rename the file to update.zip to flash it.

I guess 2+16G ROM memory is not enough to download additional applications. Installing too many software may cause slower performance. I prefer a Carlinkit AI Box with a larger memory capacity. Seems they have released Android 13.0 system.
