Hey.. yeah i am s-off.. so i just need to download the file, keep it on the root of sd card and the use fastboot to update the firmware?? Or can flash it through recovery??Hi,
Yes,assuming you are s-off.
Also does updating the firmware increase performance of the phone??

Hi,
Place the PG58IMG.zip file on the root of your sd card.
Then, check the md5 checksum.
Power off your phone and then, power on holding volume down + power button.
The phone checks immediately for PG58IMG.zip file and starts the update process.
Make sure you let it complete(it will say complete)
Then, remove the PG58IMG.zip file from your sd card and reboot.

If you have 4EXT recovery,then, there is an option to check it in there.
Otherwise , google it and download a free one.

You will need to flash it if you want to install ICS or JB ROMS.
Yes, it is fine if you are s-off.
Read the thread carefully first,and follow it to the letter.

I dunno if u cud help me. A friend gave me his HTC sensation to install d viper sense 5 Rom. I did but it stucked at the boot. So when I asked them at the forum that I'm on s-off and hboot is 1.17..... And my radio is 10.....they suggested I shud change the firmware. And referred me to this thread. I downloaded the 3.33firmware and I flashes it as u said it then my phone refused to boot again and is being stucked at the fastboot/recovery screen. Will send u a pic to see below. I also tried restoring my other sensation Rom on my friends sensation to see if it will boot but no way. Any help. Oh. And last time I flashed it it restored but there was no radio signal. Pls help

First, you need to be S-off, or else it won't work
Also see the instructions, this isn't flashable from recovery
You need to install it from bootloader
After achieving S-Off
You can do that by moving the file to the root of your SD card
Then go to bootloader and follow the instructions

Just like said Hanisod above do all that steps .. and if the md5 sum is incorrect that just redownalod the firmware and check again
I download 10 times and again the same problem is going on...But some people using without being S-OFF however he didn't return me and I tried to make it my self with searching.I want to use vipers3.1.4 rom.I'm sooo noob

My bootloader is 1.27.0000 but I don't know my current firmware.How can I learn?
You can know that with the adb command fastboot getvar all
But i think that you have or 3.32 or 3.33 and you don't need 3.33 but check it out
No... just tell on this thread or other thread for s-off what os you computer have and ask for that version of juopuntbear
