The user-visible changes that can be noticed is the baseband version. See the last few figures that shows v046. That's it. Xiaomi doesn't change that in every weekly update but after a couple of updates. Mine is v051(latest)Look at my baseband version:

Can I flash firmware of latest stable global version now?
Moddem restore was not supported by any version of twrp for redmi 3sYou just saved my phone,
My phone's baseband was showing unknown also no IMEI, bluetooth & mac address.
After flashing latest stable firmware everything is resolved.
But i need to flash it everytime while restoring any working ROM's backup from TWRP, everytime i get "extracttar error 255" while restoring modem.
Anybody who can help me in fixing this permanently.

HiIf i do clean flash for new rom, do i still need to reinstall firmware again?
