I flashed this yesterday, been using for 27hr now..... I notice it has the February security patch, but everyone else is on the March security patch update. I've tried updating, via OTA, but it say's there is no update available.

By flashing this official ROM, did it trip something that doesn't allow OTA updates? Or am I just being impatient and needing to wait a little longer?

FYI: I had the March update before I tried another ROM, then went back to this. So, I know it's out there.

Winrar says the zip with the odin flash files is corrupt is this normal or should i try to re-download?
It appears to have extracted everything though.
edit: re-downloaded and still says zip is corrupt.

It wouldn't flash anything. There is an update to this which is CRC5. Not sure why you're not getting the update. I did just fine.

My wife has a S8 unlocked SM-950U I followed the carrier switching instructions here https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/snap-guide-flashing-standard-fw-carrier-t3625817 to load ATT firmware in the hope of getting carrier features like wi-fi calling, video calling etc. to work. In sort none of those features work and she is not getting any OTA updates.

1. Can i flash this over the current firmware NRD90M.G950USQS1AQF7 service provider says ATT/ATT/XAA
2. Will it flash a non-carrier version or att we have att sim?
3. will she get OTA updates after this?
4. will user data be erased?

Thank you for your help.

FYI there might be an ATT ota issue. I bought my s8 active new from att in January, and it came with QK3 but refused to update. I was following this forum as well as the ATT news and saw they were pushing the prerequisites and final oreo update mid march. I waited until April 14th and opened a ticket with the ATT support team who were about as useless as a bag of dicks on fire and said they kept pushing the update and to try to check for updates again. No matter what I would do it would never say new software available. I was stressing myself out trying to figure out why. Still dont know.

Anyway, right before the thread closed, I found the the ota files for qk3 > ql1 > ara1 > arb1> brc5 and sideloaded them with factory resets and was able to upgrade and restore my data from google without issues. I do not know if I will continue to get ota updates, but I see the odin files are available now so I may just reflash to be safe.

Ill take not having otas. Its preferable to not having security patches.

Having this same problem. I've been told before that you must update to all previous firmware in the correct order. But cannot find all files. If anyone can tell us if we can jump from AQF7 to Oreo it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh there's no way i'm going to be able to track down all the updates. I was really hoping to get something flashed that would allow her to get OTAs.

How to update ATT S8 G950U TO OREO?

I have ATT s8 g950u device which have AQEF(may17) fw. I have some questions that do i have to install every fw one by one by odin (i couldnt find all the fw) . Or do i have to skip all the fw and directly install CBR9(march18) by odin?

Plz answer me.

This is the official Oreo update. Zip includes all needed Odin files. For any US carrier as it installs carrier files based on installed SIM CARD:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1k6sU2p9God8qQ9fKHNulAjFGMi8HgMo2

This is the new Odin, required for flashing Oreo fw. Older versions WILL NOT WORK:

I am getting a file not found error - can you upload it again please and thank you?
