^^Yup.

Looks like the dd command is used to facilitate the transfer.

You think this will also flash from fastboot?
I don't think so - the bootloader signature verification will still reject the zip file, as the partition is (technically) locked.

I'm really not sure how HTC is allowing us to circumvent that verification now, but I'm glad they are :D.

If only we could crack that bootloader, we'd be able to undo the red text on bootup, and fix the digital watermark. But that'll require an hboot exploit that may never come .

Probably not. Not yet, at least. As time rolls on and more radios are released/updated for jewel, if you find that your data speed or signal strength has diminished, you'll be able to try a newer or older version.

On OG Evo, there were 6 or 7 radio versions released. I only ever tried 3 of them.

Now that we have S-OFF, I will be adding bootloader-flashable versions of the radios as well, as they are released.

I'll try and add PJ75IMG versions of the current radios a little bit later today.

EDIT: And it is done. Enjoy! (only if you're S-OFF, of course).

Hey Capt. Are you sure about the PRL # or is that just a typo? After feeding the panda today I updated PRI & PRL. Here's what I came up with

Thanks for this.

Just a suggestion, sometimes the new RUUs or OTAs contain other firmware images besides just the radio (ex: PRI, NV, Touch Panel, rpm, etc etc). Will a full firmware zip be added as well?

I could probably whip one up once I get home.

I'm sure that can be done also. I just don't know what all the img files are for, so I posted the radios because I know while file and version numbers those are. If you have a breakdown of what all the firmware is, and how to determine the version number, I'll gladly post them as new ones emerge.

Right on. I'll take a look at it tonight.

Firmware zip from new 1.22.651.3 Software Update (Bootloader flashable only):

http://d-h.st/elt

Includes new Radio and PRI, and some other stuff that I'm not sure about, but none of those other things will affect root or unlock status.

Recovery-flashable for the HTCDev Unlocked folks will be uploaded later. I'll also make sure the OP is updated with proper links.

Than revert back to the old radio... Before doing that, make sure you update profile and prl, and reboot... My speeds are better and my 3g and WiFi are no longer disconnecting, as of now. I'm gonna keep an eye on it. So far so good...

Quick question Captain. I'm S-OFF and rooted using Lazy Panda and Zedomax methods. I also changed my bootloader image using RegawMod Bootloader Customizer. I downloaded the PJ75IMG.zip for the new firmware from the latest OTA from here. However, when I go into Bootloader, it doesn't see the file for some reason. I've renamed the file and moved it to phone storage so the bootlader could see it and still nothing. Do you have any clue what could be causing this?

it has to be on sdcard2. Also it didn't download correctly from that host site the first time so check the md5.
