My firmware (version-main in fasboot) shows that I'm on 1.24.401.1. Will this firmware gives me issues on flashing rom or battery drains issues?
I'm from Malaysia btw. Should I flash the 3.33 firmware?

What do I need to do after flashing the firmware? Do I need to do a clean install of the rom after flashing the firmware?http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21711154
3.33 is the latest most stable firmware for sensation. If you don't want to flash simply don't do. But when you will experience bugs you will never be sure if it is not firmware related.

Yes I'm sure I am on 1.24.401.1. I'm not sure when did it changed to this version.are you sure you have 1.24.401.1?
because viperS rom 3.1.2 requires ics firmware
post the output of this command
fastboot getvar all
remove your imei and serial number
don't judge the battery when you are doing fresh installYes I'm sure I am on 1.24.401.1. I'm not sure when did it changed to this version.I'm now on 3.33 firmware and have successfully flashed the carbon rom, but there is a battery drain using it. Gsam battery monitor shows that Trebuchet is using 8X% of my battery. After do some searching, I realized it's the CM default launcher. If I change to other launcher will it increase my battery life?
EDIT: I have deleted my previous fastboot screenshot. >.< My current fastboot screenshot is attached in attachment. Can you check whether I need to update what?
Ok. Thanks for the advices.don't judge the battery when you are doing fresh install
give to the battery 3-4 circle charges and then see how it behaves
On the other side, don't expect miracles either! After some battery cycles, battery life should improve somewhat, but won't double!Ok. Thanks for the advices.![]()
I have this firmware version too. Earlier I had the 3.33 version but after performing Juopunutbear S-Off it changed to 1.24. After lot if searching on forum I found out that my firmware is still 3.33 and it only shows 1.24 as I am able to boot all ICS/JB Rom which requires 3.33 firmware. I never flashed the 3.33 firmware again as it is working totally fine for me. It still shows version-main as 1.24.401.1 when I fire getvar all command. My firmware (version-main in fasboot) shows that I'm on 1.24.401.1. Ya. It does have improvements after a few charge cycles. But it seems nova launcher is better and faster than the trebuchet launcher by CM, although nova launcher does not have as much tweaks as trebuchet. On the other side, don't expect miracles either!
