Not sure about it. But there are tutorials how to downgrade from pie to Oreo. They restore EFS and modem from an backup the OP provided.

I did it once, it worked and I kept my IMEI number.

I hope someone else with more eclxperience can write more about this.

Apologies. I have long since given up on the MiA1. It was an incredibly poor implementation all the way around and there was little to no hope of overcoming all the issues the device had. I think this is reflected in that very little in the way of work is still being done with it. Even Xiaomi gave up on it and moved on to the A2 and A3.

As mentioned I found full image in https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/tissot/
where someone kindly maintained Mi A1 images.
@Dior DNA Can I flash this on top of a custom ROM (crDroid 7.4) to update firmware? Will it update vendor security patch? If not, how do I update vendor so that it matches the firmware (I know how to unpack system.img and I have the stock rom downloaded already, I am asking which files to flash on top of custom ROM or if it's impossible)

These are only latest official firmware partitions. They work fine with custom ROMs (who typically do not update such partitions). system and vendor are part of ROM (stock or custom) or, if you (like me) run Treble the typical vendor is the one from sooti. So, yes: you can flash firmware on custom ROM (in fact that's why I published the zip) and no: there is no google system or vendor 'security' included. If you already flashed latest stock rom you do not need to flash firmware again. However, maybe you only flashed latest stock in one slot. This zip flashes the firmware in both slots. It does not hurt.

for the interested:
firmware_V10.0.24.0.PDHMIXM.zip (no system, no boot)
made from V10.0.24.0.PDHMIXM image found in https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/tissot/

I flashed latest firmware to verify if my double sim card issue would be resolved, but no changes. I am using latest lineageOS rom, the phone is working fine with 1 sim card, as soon as I use 2 sim cards, both sim cards lose all signal after 2min. Triggering airplane mode is resetting the sim card signal, but 2min later is down again.

Do you all face the same issue when 2 sim cards are used? Thanks

I happen to not use LOS (I use Treble Phh AOSP with sooti vendor) and not to use 2 SIM cards, so, unfortunately, I cannot provide relevant input or experience. Are you using Treble LOS? Good luck!

I doubt it, not too experienced in the deep insides of android :) I am using latest official tissot rom, being https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/fu...neage-17.1-20210706-nightly-tissot-signed.zip. I doubt the official one is Treble, right?
