Some notes regarding the project
- No More Global Beta
Xiaomi has decided to end the public beta program for all Global devices, including the devices that don’t have a Chinese variant like Pocophone F1 and Redmi Note 6 Pro. This is sad news for Xiaomi community, as many users have been using the weekly ROMs for a long time.
Also, this means there’ll be no Global firmware updates by us :( Please switch to latest Global Stable firmware for your device once a new update comes out. If you have a Chinese device or don’t have a problem with using Chinese firmware on your global device, you can flash weekly china firmware which will continue to release.

- MIUI Updates Tracker has been updated to V2.2
Changes:
  • New: RSS feeds for devices update
  • New: Separated devices' JSON files are now pushed to the repo
How to use RSS feeds?
Starting from V2.2 the script will push JSON and XML files for each device, in addition to the all-in-one file that was already available.
These files can be used for whatever project, just give the proper credits to XiaomiFirmwareUpdater project
Files are separated by branch: Stable Recovery - Stable Fastboot - Weekly Recovery - Weekly Fastboot
RSS files are available here (https://github.com/XiaomiFirmwareUpdater/miui-updates-tracker/tree/master/rss), Just open any XML file in raw view, copy the link, add to your RSS feed and enjoy :D

Hi,

Firstly, big thanks to everyone contributing to XDA and the scene in general. A huge effort, much appreciated.

I'm currently running latest lineage 16 nightly build for beryllium (lineage-16.0-20190626-nightly-beryllium-signed.zip) with Latest dev vendor and firmware (fw_beryllium_miui_POCOF1Global_9.6.20_b7537712ad_9.0.zip)

Can I safely flash latest stable vendor and/or firmware into this combo or is that not a good idea?

My reason is that I'm after the latest vendor security update, which only seems to be in the current stable release. (MIUI V10.3.5.0.PEJMIXM)

Apologies if this has been covered but I've searched a lot and can't find an answer to this specific question. Clearly I haven't quite got my head around the possible issues with the mismatch of rom, vendor, and firmware.

Thanks in advance.
Thank you ! :)
So if I correctly understood, (for lineageos / poco) I need to do:
1- flash this firmware (only) zip
2- flash lineageos ROM (containing the vendor)
(3- wipe Cache/Dalvik)

Am I right ?
Thanks in advance

I don't understand how the last vendor image is from November 1st 2019 but the security patch date displayed on my phone says June 5th? Some file in the zip just wasn't updated and it actually has a later security patch than June? Thanks
Sorry for the inconvenience, it seems that website vendor page is not showing the correct latest builds due to some changes I've made recently. I'll check this as soon as possible.

The latest vendor package is V11.0.5.0.PEJMIXM
You can get it from here https://github.com/TryHardDood/mi-vendor-updater/releases/beryllium_global-stable

Finally, I got some time to fix this issue. The first problem was from my side, which is solved, and there's another one from mi-vendor-updater which is going to be fixed soon.

All Xiaomi users suffer from a single problem, Firmware update. As there are many devices with no one to provide the newest firmware update every single release. And also developers who provide updates to devices may forget or be busy sometimes, so releases are provided later. Here is my simple solution:

    Xiaomi Firmware Updater (Poco F1)
    jSIVrRy.png
    Code:
    #include
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

A set of various script that automatically generates Xiaomi firmware flashable zip files every MIUI new update!
My scripts download MIUI official ROMs, both Developer and Stable, Global and China, extracts the firmware-update folder, generates firmware flashable zip with auto-written "updater-script", and uploads them automatically to many servers.
The scripts are completely automated, running on a Linux server every six hours.

    Note:
Name's will be in the following manner:
    • fw_beryllium_miui_POCOF1Global_*.zip is Xiaomi Poco F1 (beryllium) Global firmware

    Downloads
You can get updates always from various mirrors available on the website:

    Frequently Asked Questions:
What is Firmware? Is it a full ROM or OTA package?
Firmware is not a ROM nor OTA Package, it's a set of low-level drivers which helps the operating system do whatever it wants to do. It includes various things like Modem, Bluetooth, Bootloader, DSP and etc.
Why should I update the Firmware?
Firmware is provided from Xiaomi directly, and there are no sources for it to let developers build and edit it on their own like custom ROMs, so if you want to keep your device up to date always update your firmware!
Do I need updating the Firmware If I'm MIUI official or custom ROM user?
No, MIUI ROMs contain the firmware-update package which I extract and provide here.
    What are the supported devices?
All Snapdragon and MTK devices including China-only devices.
Check the full devices list here
    How to update firmware?
1- Download the package you want to flash. IT MUST BE NAMED WITH THE SAME CODENAME OF YOUR DEVICE.
2- Flash it using TWRP or any custom recovery. There's no need to wipe/format anything before or after the installation.
How to check the updated firmware?
Usually, the modem gets updated with newer firmware, you can check it in Settings > About > Baseband.

Can someone please explain what is numbers and letters mean ?

    (I think on 1, Q=10 (indicating Android 10))

    Q is android version
    EJ is poco miui code
    MI is global rom code
XM is miui 10 and newer code
The mix of letters and numbers after _ are the first part of md5 hash.
